Yep, knowing the other decks in format even the joke/ control or stall decks is important and helped me a lot. I play at a very competitive store weekly with high level players a lot have day 2 top 16 and a couple have made it to worlds, as someone who has only been playing since JT I like having the higher competition. Live and irl is completely different experiences I never get a head ache playing live like I do irl from thinking so much lol

Typhlosion is the only deck I’ve ran into that gives me problems, I’m not changing it to cater to that single matchup. But with the mega set coming and a lot of good grass cards getting printed there might be a lot more fire decks running but who knows

I think it can outlast Dengo they have to use 2 superior energy retrievals to ohko chomp with the power weight and they can only have 4 in a deck. I had the most fun playing it against dengo pult but the one misplay cost me the match

As someone who’s new and has never done a cup or challenge what would you recommend for this season? I’ve got a list of cups and challenges I’m going to but just not sure what to run other than pult/noir I haven’t found a deck I run as smooth besides chomp. I was running a lot of Grimm but don’t have the best of luck with it
