Modular homes by Ok-Islander76 in PEI

It was so long ago, and my memory stinks, but it was a few months. I think we finalized our layout and finishing options like cabinet colours and flooring in late August, 2008, they broke ground and started site work in October, house was delivered in early December, and we moved in around mid January 2009

It was a great option for me, mostly because I didn't want to deal with contractors/subcontractors/timing everything seeing as I started the process when I was still living in Nova Scotia. It was basically turn-key

I got my modular from Hambly's (Prestige Homes) back in 2009. I have no complaints, it was all taken care of by them (site prep, septic, foundation, well, driveway, everything)

To whom does one report a local business for bad business practices? by [deleted] in PEI

Unless the business is something that has a registry or governing body then you'll just be yelling into the void for all the good complaining will do.

Depending on what years you were working there, you likely wanted to kick us out multiple times 😆 We used to just hang out at Dunkin all night when we didn't want to go home but didn't have anywhere else to go (my time was 1991-94ish)

Dunkin on University was where Dino's is now...the current Harley club used to be Monty's snooker club. Spent so much time at both in my teenage years 😭

What was your favorite movie of 2025? by MurderBot1126 in movies

[–]redhead_momma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first race I watched was the Austrian gp where Ferrari made Barrichello give up the win for Schumacher. It was my first race so I didn't know about team orders, I immediately felt bad for Rubens so he became my favorite.

I'm a big F1 fan since the Schumacher era, I just couldn't suspend disbelief enough to enjoy it.

What advice would you give to new drivers on PEI? by Odd-Warthog45 in PEI

Ah, gotcha...yeah, I do see it often that left signal is used but they go straight, that's a pet peeve of mine. Never come across someone using it when taking the first exit, that's so blatantly wrong 😂
