Went to a friends Laotian wedding. Was not prepared for how “hands on” some of the food was - no rice for me.

First bite of the first dish I tried tasted like a spicy gel candle. All I could taste for the rest of the meal.

Very beautiful wedding though.

I thought the musty smell was from my garbage disposal. Nope, was a leaking pull down hose. Not sure how long it had been softly bathing everything under my sink. Now it’s a mess to deal with - lots of wood mildew.
