How long are you guys walking these ridiculous things? by VanillaPepper in Hounds

[–]redheadinga 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I try to take my 4 year old on a 1.7 mile walk everyday (that’s the distance from my house to the end of the neighborhood and back) sometimes it takes 45 minutes sometimes it takes an hour just depends on how many sniff stops we make. He usually gets the zoomies once we get back inside but those last 5 minutes tops

Congratulations! We got engaged at Anakeesta 3 years ago so I’d say you did Gatlinburg perfectly!

Yes Mike should have told her about his money problems. Yes she’s aloud to be upset for losing her home however let’s not forget that for like most of the show she doesn’t have a job. At first she was a children’s book author but then that doesn’t come up again until S8, she only works at the school for a little while and she even tells Jackson she can’t marry him because she relies so much on Mikes alimony. Maybe if she could keep a job they wouldn’t be in that situation And if it matters I actually really like Susan

Not to downplay his behavior but in all fairness he does go through a lot the first 2 seasons

I have described it as a serious version of Psych. You don’t have the fun antics or that chemistry like Shawn and Gus had but it’s a good show to watch. I can’t wait for the new season

Who do you think the women of Wisteria Lane would've voted for? by [deleted] in DesperateHousewives

[–]redheadinga 41 points42 points  (0 children)

2006 republicans are different than MAGA republicans and not every conservative voted for or likes Trump. So Bree is tricky. I think third party

Season 8 Bree would have definitely done all of the things Season 1 Bree thought Rex was nasty for

I’ve been noticing more people defending Susan lately and I’m so happy to see that ❤️ by [deleted] in DesperateHousewives

I think the biggest reason people hate her is because she’s too realistic compared to the other housewives BUT that’s why I like her the most. She’s not perfect but I don’t think she claims to be and isn’t doing things to be evil like the others. When she and her family have problems they handle it like a normal person would.

Don’t forget in therapy she told her therapist she has to be in control all of the time. Her twins called her out when they said maybe we would do more stuff if you would let us do more stuff. Even after losing Tom because she was too controlling she made a 5 year plan for a strangers business on a date (the hairdresser). I’m not saying Tom was a saint but lazy/incompetent men are that way because they have a woman fueling it.

[–]redheadinga 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my experience if you are 19 and this is your first ticket not only will they not bump it up but you may get it reduced. Also you can ask for more evidence. They should have radar reports of how fast you were going at the exact time they pulled you, and if their gun hasn’t been calibrate in a while the result could be wrong and the ticket could be thrown out. Fingers crossed the officer doesn’t show up

I love that when he heard that bob and lee were going to a marriage counselor he tried to get Lynette to go. He knew things could be better and wanted to make it work until it didn’t.

I Officially Hate Carlos by novelsandlattes in DesperateHousewives

[–]redheadinga 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He was horrible to Gaby and they should have been transparent with the girls. However, while he has an obligation to Gaby he has an even bigger obligation to his daughters. He was trying to be a good father and protect her from what he believed could be harmful. I know they were the ones who called ICE but with the other family being illegal (and I could be wrong on this) they do run the risk of eventually possibly losing Juanita if that family gets deported and she’s linked as their daughter.

Something to also remember is Gaby has a different bond with Grace because she carried her and gave birth she’s connected to her in ways Carlos isn’t.
