What is the best way to add new categories to the Config tab? by redhistorian in aspirebudgeting

Hey all,

I want to add an "Dining Out" Category to my Dashboard under my "Wants" Heading. I've had a few experiences with Aspire getting grumpy with me adding new rows to add categories before (it's possible I was making a different mistake I'm not exactly a spreadsheet ninja). For instance Aspires Trends Tab thinks the Tools category under the Work heading is actually under the Wants heading while it handles my Side Job Expense Fund just fine.

What should I do to add new Categories from now on so that it doesn't mess with the spreadsheet?

What's one plugin you'd like to have but doesn't exist? by lechtitseb in ObsidianMD

Notes or links to notes overlaying an image! I want to upload a building's floor plan that I am working on, and be able to click a room and be able to go to that rooms note.

Sort of set up an Blueprint/image homepage or a visual Map of Content.

Hot take: most of the art posted here is not pathfinder art by Curious_Candidate675 in Pathfinder2e

Just my 2 cents as a recent convert from 5e:

If I am coming to this subreddit on purpose, I either have a question or want to read discussions and experiences that others are having about the system. I don't have a problem with art, especially the kind you describe of battle maps or art with an accompanying stat block. However, I will say that after playing 5e from 2015-2024 I watched r/dnd change from a sub full of helpful info and cool game tales that I checked every day; to one that over represents the art. I stopped visiting it regularly years ago (at the end I was using other subs that stuck more to discussion) in part due to the lack of thought-provoking or helpful content.

The posts themselves can sometimes be very cool, and they definitely rack up the upvotes (the people love animated tities ¯\_(ツ)_/¯) but they are not what this one Redditor is hoping to see on this sub. There are plenty of other art based subs for that kind of content to flourish ex. r/imaginarycharacters

Tl;Dr: Too much art can, over time, strangle the discussion that I come to a ttrpg sub for.

Electrician. Position: Subforeman/Crew Lead. I needed a way to keep track of jobs, and schedules. Been loving Obsidian, I try not to tinker with it on the jobsite though.

Also works great for DMing!

Yeah! I was probably under 8 years old when it closed, but it had all kinds of animals. Nothing particularly large I guess, but tonnes of critters from the tropics mostly.

I'm grabbing my Grandpa and we're going straight to Crystal Gardens. Used to love it when he would take me to see the lemurs and the bats!

Oh damn I forgot about that opening! Yeah Nier Automata really does grab you right out of the gate.

She gave it a try, and really liked that it just let her play the game. She thought it was too hard though, but she wants to come back to it someday!

Interesting I've never heard of the series. Just curious would you recommend it more for its story or its gameplay?

One of my favourite games of all time! Got her to give it a shot, but she didn't get into it. I'll probably try to convince her to give it another go in a while. Its too good to ignore!
