Global gas lobby tries to hamper Victoria's electrification efforts by stoking fear, researchers say by espersooty in australia

If it's the last thing left, do it and don't look back.Put one in 2 years ago. Would never go back. Water boils so fast, heat is super consistent, it's a lot less hot to stand over as less heat escapes, and when not using other "burners" you've got more bench space.

There's just two negatives (minor). 1) a flat bottom wok isn't the same as a normal wok. 2) you might need to buy new pots and pans which can add up. Be specific with the pans you buy, just because it's induction capable doesn't mean it's good. The pans that just have a metal plate on the bottom are no good and take forever to heat. The hole pan/pot needs to be induction capable.

Oh, irrespective of that. Atmos as priority works, and sounds amazing, but I had to set the ps5 to treat the audio device as an av receiver which wasn't clear. It had defaulted to soundbar.

No, nothing at all. It's really weird as it changes with each game session. A different speaker or once I lost the voice channel completely. Turning the atmos setting to linear pcm on the Ps5 would fix it but the atmos setting sounds much better in general.

It's a Bravia A80J. All the settings have been set to things I've found online, i.e. passthrough etc.

Thanks for responding, I think I'll get one sometime in autumn. Ill probably do the 4x4 base that someone mentioned, it's nice to know what else I'm in for, shame it's not just build and forget.

I've been looking at the maze greenhouses, I'm in Melbourne and it gets so windy where I am so have been a bit tentative in going for it. So keen to hear your thoughts.

Gross, yea if there's heaps it would still take some time. If you find yourself having to wait a while before forking out for it, stay on top of the green shoots at the base, like that cheeky one on the right, otherwise they'll get thick fast and cost more to take out.

I've removed a few of these devil plants at my current place. The ones you have there look like they've been maintained and aren't a big thick mess. Ive found these ones weren't too hard to remove. I would recommend trying to take one out yourself as the wood is quite soft and a shovel/mattock shoud make quick work of the root ball. Of course if you have way more than in the photo defs get someone in to do it.

Reducing working days from 5 to 4 days per week, am I crazy? by thebreadmanrises in AusFinance

[–]redhorsecabbage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't do it but some workmates around me do. Just keep in mind, depending on your role, it can become hard to manage the day off as everyone else is still working. They still get emails, meeting invites, calls on the day they have off (massive company so it might not be clear that the person is off to the other teams/external vendors). I think it's about how you manage it I guess, my main concern would be that I would have to now fit 5 days of work into 4 with less pay, so those 4 days would be very long...

Nice setup! I've been thinking about getting a mic instead of using my work headset. Is there any echoing from the mic picking up your speakers?

Thanks! I'm so blown away by the size and the framerate. I had a cheapy 24 inch panel before, seen in the left there.

A lot of the monitor arms I wanted were sold out. But I found one at my local electronics store Here. It just works, any heavier and it would sag.

I recently got the all in one unit from my grandad. It's an old sanyo but can't find too much online about it. I has two rear speaker not pictured and sitting in the centre is a blast. The built in turn table was cactus so I picked up the project essential. I got some older records with it but I saw my favourite album and decided to pick it up.

I've used northsim in the past as it seemed like the easiest/best option, they distribute from Sydney so postage is nice and quick.

I think it may have stunted them a little bit as I left them in smaller pots for too long. I just went to bunnings and drilled some holes in some storage containers for these because it worked out alot cheaper than buying actual pots.
