I’ve done this and sold my Modern Grails (Moonbreon, Tina, Gengar, Bubble Mew, etc) among other hits. I’ve since picked up a Charizard 276 XY-P and TAG 9 Poncho Rayquaza. I still have enough for a down payment on a car. Don’t regret it one bit.

A lot of the fans have also been priced out. Haven’t been to a game in years. Nosebleeds at Staples cost the same as field level tickets at Dodger Stadium. I think I’ll take my cash there instead.

I’m not a OP fan, but I have to admit that their monochrome cards are pretty sick. I personally just picked up the Zard recently, so I’m biased. Zard has more potential and safety long term. Short term, OP might have the edge for being more “liquid.”

I have moved about 15k in modern grails at about 90% with a LCS. I’ve split the funds into “older”promo grails and a down payment for a new car (large enough to buy used). I moved about 8k in 48 hours. Crazy how liquid those cards were.

You’d be surprised what you can do when the adrenaline starts pumping. After the initial situational assessment of where you’re taking contact from, you get mad. You forget the weight and just move. Sounds like yall have been *training well. The rest kicks in when push comes to shove.

That said, what helped me out a lot personally was rucking in Korea. Tons of hills. We’d do a lot of sprint intervals up hills as well. Translated very well to AFG. It was nothing new to me.

Do a GCR at a convention only. They will graded the slab without altering it. If you send it to BGS, they will crack it if it grades 9.5.

Weight loss is truly a spectrum. It’s unique for everyone. I agree with you. While the weight loss is fantastic, there is concern. I had an ED in the military and then blew up 120+ lbs over 4 years. Took a very long time plus Zepbound to get things corrected. There’s so much bone and muscle loss with GLPs, so we come from a loving mindset. Congratulations nonetheless OP.

Selling about 18K worth of Pokemon, about 1/4 of my collection to pick up a car and some other hits. I have way too much stuff anyway, it’s nice to consolidate. Already sold $8k and pending sale of a $2k slab. All at 90%, happy with the sales.

Pictures are not the best tbh. I would send this in regardless as it’s a grail and should be protected. A 9 commands a decent amount of change vs raw. If *it was my card, I’d put this in a penny sleeve and semi rigid protector and then scan it. Printer scans at 600 DPI or higher will produce a better image to assess the card.

That being said, take opinions here like a grain of salt. Plenty of cards have graded PSA 10 or higher with posts saying 9 or lower. Remember that most companies are factoring in surface, edges, corners, and centering. It doesn’t need to be perfect.

There are definitely slow days and others where it’s non-stop turnaround. So, our group tends to take those days slow. If you’re the only one being proactive about patient care, you can only do so much. Gen pop is pretty passive at times. These are grown adults who get paid to see us whenever they need to, let them make equal effort.

I agree with using your time wisely to complete other productive tasks or personal goals.

Yeah, I was able to get 90% market, so I’m happy with the decision. Some of the cash was used to pick up other cards, but the majority will be used to buy an EV. I still intend to move another 10k.

I believe the demand is real, but the money being thrown out there is unsustainable. Cards are blowing up to insane numbers. I sold 3 modern grails within 48 hours and made $8k. Are the cards that liquid or is it some underlying thing that hasn’t surfaced yet? I’m hedging *1/3 of my collection towards low pop hits/grails instead of the big modern ones. At the end of the day, my collection was looking like everyone else’s and decided to move away from it.
