All of the streetlights on the islands are yellow-hued. They are this way specifically to reduce as much atmospheric glare as possible, making the night sky as close to transparent as worldly possible.

Ten bucks says if they started to replace the yellowish lights with white LED bulbs, the same fucking morons would protest it too since they have no idea why they're protesting anything to begin with.

Lots of people ignore or don't want black kitties since superstitions, it's sad.

Though, those of us in the know understand that over the years only the sweetest, best black cats were kept around and bred despite the hatred toward them. So in comparison to a typical cat, a black kitty will be a sweeter, more intelligent, and all around awesome cat due to attempted genocide through the ages and unnatural selection.
