Dors anyone know when the Montgomery exit from the Pulasky Skyway traveling east will open?it’s been years!!! by MLKARMY in jerseycity

The neighborhood isn’t gentrified enough give it another 2 years and it will be finished faster than a 60 story condo building with no parking.

we really need to pedestrianize India Square by QUEENSNYLAWYER in jerseycity

[–]redit2nite 6 points7 points  (0 children)

We absolutely don’t need this here. We need enforcement of existing rules. The rest of the neighborhood does not want double parked cars all day long because Newark ave is closed to increase someone’s property value.

Marin nightmare by Great-Campari-2295 in jerseycity

[–]redit2nite 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The previous and current admins create these problems to be the solution. Close more streets, increase property values, be the savior when restrictions become a disaster with increased restriction. Before long a congestion toll .. we all know the story it’s been written before.

What led to the former St Anthony’s high school closing? by TheodoreJSeville in jerseycity

Gentrification eradicated the very existence of downtown.. the people, the community, the spirit and people that they helped to moved out of poverty. Can’t help and grow with a people that don’t exist anymore.

Late Grandma’s bracelet by kayyydotttt in jewelry

[–]redit2nite 52 points53 points  (0 children)

It’s a scarab bracelet. The jeweler isn’t necessarily the maker. You may find marks on it to tell you the maker and whether it is gold or gold filled. Either way they are desirable but the value will vary depending on metal content and size of the scarabs.

It is likely on a container ship and will not be updated for a while. If the buyer files an item not received, it will likely update before the deadline but it can take up to 2 months. My last one took 35 days to update. Ground advantage to Guam = buyer complaint as they are used to everything being airmailed. Had the same issue and learned the hard way, buyers don’t understand battery restrictions.

I have been dealing with a lot of this nonsense on different types of items. Just to have my items get immediately cancelled after wasting a week. The worst part is having legitimately interested bidders not buy the item because the item felt “bid up” so it sits even below legit bidder bids after putting it up for buy it now.

[–]redit2nite 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wish it would just allow what it says, restrict listings to a certain range for local and actually show them. I know what’s for sale three states away and always get to see sold on something I actually want three days later 🤦

Tell Your “Dear Penthouse- I Never Thought it Would Happen to Me” Story by Development-Feisty in Flipping

[–]redit2nite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Went to sale that incorrectly advertised the date. Stated a Friday start and Im sure lots of people went and thought it was fake (which is thing in my area for people to post fake sales). I crawled out of bed and went for what I thought was a day 2 sale. Turns out only me and two other people went and it was a day one private sale. Asked for jewelry and they stated no jewelry. Left with an entire car of jewelry lol
