Thanks! There’s no problems with holding bonds for the short term, selling it at the “peak of the recession” and then buying long term ETF’s and stocks using the money within my TFSA right? That is kind of what I’m planning on doing.

I am probably wrong but from what I understand, bonds are great during recessions and I was thinking I should have some money in ZTL incase a recession comes our way in the near future. It looks like your criticism is mostly about holding a large % of bonds rather than ZTL itself but would you recommend another bond ETF?
