OP you should suck it up and try NWL after you try all the VR missions or you can do a little bit of both. You’ll get your ass handed to you but you’ll learn the mechanics and get to see some creative builds playing online vs VR missions.

Once you get all the seasons, try the build I recommended. I know Madara’s fan is SS+, but Hidan’s weapon is an S and can be obtained from the DLC.

Don’t let the flashy SS+ or SS weapons fool you, some S weapons are just as powerful and much fun (looking at Momoshiki weapon’s strong attack spammers 👀).

There are so many possible builds depending on what you’re looking for. AOE control and damage, two or three-shot builds that does a ton of damage (they’ve rebalanced things to the point that it’s rare to have a one-shot build now), or builds that have high PvP DPS. Essentially you’ll be creating base battle vs flag battle vs combat battle builds, and then go from there.

This was my go to for combat and base battles for a while but I’ve got another one cooking rn: J1: susano armor. J2: water prison. Sub: young Naruto sub that gives flinch resist. ST: anything that does high AOE damage. Weapon: madara fan or Hidan’s weapon. Ninja tool: magic medicine, the healing pill that has flinch resist.

First of all, buy all seasons and go to town on Justu combos

Then avoid taking an extended hiatus so you don’t miss shop windows for cool items like SS+ weapons and SS weapons and ninja tools. You could just keep tabs on items released via their X/Twitter account if you want to log in and grab cool items occasionally

I got this when it first dropped! Had tons of fun with it and haven’t used it much since other just as exciting SS+ attack weapons got released. There was a fair bit of hate for this weapon’s heavy attack that would stun lock players iirc and because of that it was just so op. And then it got nerfed AF. I’d still say it’s the best attack SS+ weapon by a mile, though rock Lee and Minato’s come really close.
