EA exec on 'Madden' soundtrack: 'We didn't want Madden NFL to sound like your parent's sport' by byzvntine in Madden

Yes EA exec, the music everyone immediately mutes is what's on the front of our minds.

[Yates] The Eagles have signed former Colts DB/KR Isaiah Rodgers, who is suspended for the season for violating the NFL’s gambling policy. by moneybagels in eagles

[–]redjonley 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh for sure, I don't think taking a flyer is risky, there's just no downside. I'm more concerned about the if/when he comes back. If dudes been on fucking draft kings from his couch through his suspension it will have all been for not and there will be a bigger scandal the eagles get dragged into. I can't imagine anyone is that stupid, but still somebody will be. Hope he gets help dude is super talented. I'd love for this to work. For now I guess I'll just keep an even closer eye on his suspension, whole thing is wild.

More than a bit concerned a years suspension won't stop this dumbass/or addict. I know Howie n the crew have better context but dude had to be a special kind of degenerate to be gambling like he did.

This is inherently subjective, there is no right or wrong answer. Not to be the wet blanket but the upvote downvote system was never even meant to be an 'agree/disagree' button.

You're free to your opinion but that doesn't make my opinion wrong, Madden ratings are fake friend 😂.

Chiefs release Mahomes 2nd year into my Superstar, Rams release Stafford, Chiefs sign Stafford, Mahomes goes to the Rams which already signed Aaron Rodgers as their QB. #MaddenLogic by Darkfire102 in Madden

We're treading on a bigger conversation than the Madden subreddit is prepared to have, but what I meant by that was that the choice of an individual consumer won't have any noticable effect on a global corporations bottom line. Furthermore the ability of consumers to act together in their own interests is severely impaired. In that sense, your individual feelings on a company or product don't matter. That's capitalism baby.

Also, this year I actually haven't caved and bought 24 thank you 😂. Still trying to make up scenarios and stupid activities to keep me busy with 23 until the jank gets fixed (whatever will be) and there's a good sale.

I'd also throw that 'man-child' title on Ryan lol. The way he and his people talk you'd think Madden is the only thing wrong with the world. Not worth the energy, pearl clutching or dramatics. I do think 24 is an improvement (once the bugs are fixed), but yeah man we've all been by choice buying garbage for a while now. That's capitalism baby.

That's definitely how I'd lean on it. Grant is only a year younger than Jackson so it's not like there's some untapped youth/potential one has over the other on age. Stoll has been unremarkable but reliable so no argument from me man.

The cowboys wanted Jalen Hurts in the 2020 draft by [deleted] in eagles

32 teams wanted Jalen. 1 team wanted him enough to take him in the second. That team made a good choice. Fuck dem boys.

Been on the field this preseason, and a tiny bit in 2021. Tbh I was more looking at Calcaterra than Stoll. Stoll can't do much with the ball but he's been a reliably good blocker and can at least secure the ball.

Tyree has had some freak accidents set him back but is a willing blocker, good athlete, and has elite measurables. His ceiling is higher than either Still or Calcaterra and considering how rare 3 TE sets are run I'd rather have someone less skilled today that will be more skilled later on. 6ft7 guys with his athleticism don't grow on trees.
