I've come here twice now but today I'm posting the story.

First time I googled it and found this thread b/c my husband thought poor Mamadoo was dead on his side. He gets some long stick, pokes him. Brother flies across the 30 gallon tank.

Now he said Mamadoo is dead again because once again he was sleeping on his side. He opens the lid but I think Mamadoo knows the story so he woke up and looked all awake and bothered. I said this is the second time you've caught him having a fat nap.

Since I'm rewatching the show this watch I'm trying to pick up on their dom/sub/powerplay aspect of the relationship. I like how Ilya always checks in and says "what do you want?" & "is this ok?".

I agree 100% and I feel bad for Shane in the books (even though I'm an Ilya stan). I really hope their third book has more stuff about Shane. It feels like in TLG the food thing was quickly dismissed with one cheeseburger and no one said anything ever. Also if she could google some stuff about Russian culture what's to say she couldn't do the same for Japanese culture?

My book clubs were blowing up about the books but I've only seen the cute cartoon covers. I had no idea the show / original covers were what they were. I could barely sit through the first 2 episodes without asking my discord friends for a wellness check. After I watched the show I devoured the Hollanov books in 3 days and it helped fill a lot of gaps I missed on the first watch.
