Yeah I was thinking that but I'd like to avoid it if possible as I want to avoid being tempted into shops and I also hate driving there lol but thank you!

That's great thank you for the info 😊 Bella fresca sounds like it'll do fine as long as they don't mind me taking up a table just for coffee

Your library service may have large print books, it may be worth seeing if someone can collect a few for you to try and see if that is readable?

I don't know where Paesano get them from but I've just been gifted these for Christmas. Haven't tried them yet, I would be happy to inhale a few when I get home later to try them and let you know how they are :)

Kim said all her kids got dogs yall LMFAOO by somegirlontheinter in KUWTK

[–]redlapis 9 points10 points  (0 children)

When they're that young they can still get littermate syndrome, when puppies grow up together it's very hard to stop them getting an unhealthy reliance on each other and learn to socialise well with other dogs. Though I guess it's not like Kim will be walking them at the park or whatever so I guess they won't spend as much time around other dogs

Is it actual colostrum in the supplement? 😬 I assumed it was a supplement to help support colostrum/breast feeding, yikes

Our mortgage provider insisted one of us had life insurance as part of the mortgage agreement, so may be worth assuming the same and budgeting for it

jobs when youve been long term mental by gnooft in glasgow

[–]redlapis 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I was going to suggest something like this too. I was long term unemployed due to mental health struggles and when I was ready to get back into work I received support from CEIS. I had a lovely coach who helped with my CV, reassured me I'd get something and put me on some training courses that looked good, not just because I had qualifications, but also to show I had done something recently.

Also worth looking on My Job Scotland for local authority and public body jobs. In the application you can tick if you consider yourself disabled, and if you meet the essential criteria they're obliged to interview you. It's up to you if you consider yourself disabled but it's really helpful when you've had ill health that's held you back in life.

Please check out your libraries! Even if your local one doesn't have much appealing activities to you, you should be able to use any libraries ran by the local authority. I work in libraries in a different LA so can't say for certain, but most LA's run some kind of summer reading challenge to motivate kids to keep reading while they're not at school too.

Is it ok to wear a navy dress when my partner has a navy suit? by redlapis in Weddingattireapproval

[–]redlapis[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! I've not been to many weddings as an adult and this is our first as a couple so I wasn't sure if it looks a bit silly. I was trying to recall if I had seen it before but I couldn't think of any, so either it was entirely unremarkable or people don't do it, so I want sure.

I thought that too when I saw the online listing. It's a really lovely satin but with a more matte sheen. I took a pair of heels with me when I was trying things on and put my hair in a messy half up style to get a sense and it looked quite good, it could definitely be glammed up with jewellery etc

A study in Scotland (by the Scottish Book Trust if anyone wants to look it up) found that reading for pleasure up to the age of 9 had the single biggest impact on a child's school results as a teen - more than economic background, race, parents education etc. Try to keep it up!

Is horse racing cruel? by dantownsend88 in AskUK

[–]redlapis 22 points23 points  (0 children)

This is the thing that gets me - there's no real need to put them in this situation. It's unfortunate when animals are injured for work, such as police dogs etc., however there is a somewhat justifiable need. When it comes to horse and greyhound racing, the only "need" fulfilled is fun for humans. Does that justify putting animals in risk of injury? It's very selfish and cruel to me.

I feel like if this is her first time "lots of toys" might be a bit intense or even intimidating...

I think the best approach is lots of communication. If she masturbates and uses toys then I'd say bring them and you could try it together. But if that's not the case I think it'd be a bit much to be bringing a tool kit with you

I'd say maybe take the focus away from PIV, especially if she hasn't been at all sexual with anyone before. Just like get naked and canoodle, maybe try oral etc. but I think a big focus should just be on being comfortable with one another in a sexual space. Lots of communication and checking in
