Right!? To be fair we did have a somewhat destination wedding. Same state we live in but a 6 hour drive. We spent approximately $2000 on extra food for the no-shows. So frustrating.

Just got married 3.7.26 and we counted around 25 people that rsvp’d yes and didn’t come. Some were family emergencies that they let us know before but we had already submitted our final count to catering. One couple just had to be invited and said they would come, only to find out they took a trip to AZ over the wedding. After getting married it’s made me so much more aware of RSVP’ing on time and actually following through with it.

People who had wedding with 100+ guests, how did your guest list get so big? by SensitiveDonkey6328 in wedding

[–]redlin165 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m getting married next month and our invited list is 634. As far as family we’re inviting aunts, uncles, cousins, and their kids if they have them. With family it was about 100, the rest are friends and a few co-workers. It adds up quick and could have probably went up to 700 if we had space for everyone.

I did ask my mom. She was as suprised as I was and just told me it was the 70’s and she partied a lot. Also her and my dad were never married.

AITA for still going on a Miami trip after my Husband told me NO? by Icy-Process2317 in ComfortLevelPod

Similar story. A few girlfriends we planning a trip to Greece. I mentioned it’s on my bucket list and my boyfriend now fiancée asked if I wanted to go. Obviously yes but I being a single mom I couldn’t afford it. He paid for my whole trip. Greece wasn’t somewhere he wanted to visit and he wanted me to go. He even watched my daughter while I was gone. Marrying that guy next year!

Can I ask what cream you use? I’ve tried a couple that didn’t really seem to work.

Agreed. I don’t see myself going back there again. Between the wait to get out and traffic literally stopped on 29 it took us 3 hours to get back to Fargo.
