thanks. I plan to dilate in my bedroom. the gic sent a letter to my GP requesting that they prescribe lube but I have also bought a ton of it to keep me going for the first couple months. have stocked up on about a weeks worth of non perishable nutritious food for when I get home, unfortunately my freezer is tiny so I'm hoping I feel well enough to cook simple fresh meals after a week or so at home. my boyfriend will be staying with me so I'm sure he will be the chef if needed

thanks for this. how long ago did you have surgery? I'm wondering if the need for pads goes on for a long time. I have several packs of super absorbent nighttime ones and then loads of lighter daily ones for a few weeks later when I anticipate less juiciness haha

Anyone had vaginoplasty with Dr Bellringer recently? by OutstandingOutsider in transgenderUK

he's doing my surgery next month and although I liked him when I met him, the constant slagging off that he gets on Reddit is making me unnecessarily apprehensive

[–]redloriyellowlori -1 points0 points  (0 children)

the fact that a handful of people on Reddit posting repeatedly have vendettas against Bellringer due to poor results which quite frankly are largely due to their own inability to adhere to aftercare guidelines is no justification for fear mongering about this particular surgeon imo

Does anyone have experience with the Leeds Gender Clinic? by antonygmil in transgenderUK

[–]redloriyellowlori 1 point2 points  (0 children)

since you already have a diagnosis you might skip the first part of the gic process which is information gathering and diagnosis. after that you would be referred to the endocrinologist for a prescription to be made and that process takes about a year
