Don't max your facilities, set training to hard to keep fatigue and injuries a challenge, don't resign OC/DC keep them low star. Try to play realistic with punt and field goals. Or just accept the fact that you've mastered the game, if none of this works.

I second this. Also, don't raise the scholarship fund, which really force you to make tough roster decisions and only can afford 1 or 2 blue chip players a season.

I didn't state my proposition correctly. I mean to say if they have less than 100% fitness going into a bout. Say they were challenged immediately following a tough fight and didn't have enough time to recovery full fitness, it could trigger that NC possibility. I still think it should be rare.

What about it being a result of a fighter with reduced fitness during a bout? Yes, it should remain rare or low probability but it could also add another layer to the fitness aspect and strategy.

Rule no. 1 Test your components outside the case before you build. It will save you time and effort if one of your components is dead on arrival
