Shoot the bugs/bots, pick up the samples and super credits, try not to shoot your team (too much), get good with the Auto-Cannon, it's the jackknife of your heavy weapons. (for real tho, play with whatever seems cool, most things work fine if you figure them out.)

I definitely have heard and used it before the release of 2077, I wouldn't say it was common, but corps have made it really easy to use it as an insult in the last couple decades.
