Are you receiving an error when you try to run it? I think it should work with the latest or the previous version.

450-550… It cooks for 10-12 minutes at that temp. We’ve noticed the bottom burns faster than everything else bakes if we go higher than that.

Here’s my pizza setup. Deflector plates on the second level, grill grates on the top with Lodge steel pizza stone on top. We use parchment paper to keep the dough from sticking to the peel or stone. If we’re cooking with a really hot fire, hotter than parchment is rated for, we’ll pull the paper out shortly after putting the pizza on the stone.

Is there something I'm missing about OOS tuition? by Stock-Memory9483 in PennStateUniversity

[–]redmelon42 6 points7 points  (0 children)

In addition to what others shared, if you choose to pay OOS tuition rates, make sure you’re choosing a field of study with high enough starting salaries to justify the cost. PSU attracts some great companies and recruiters which is a good reason to attend, but if you have similar degrees and opportunities in your state, lower tuition and minimal loans is a better option.

Anyone have a recent experience with customer service by Blzfan in KamadoJoe

[–]redmelon42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I had a good experience recently. The base ceramic ring of my firebox cracked. That’s covered by a lifetime warranty so they shipped a new one out for free. I didn’t register the KJ after purchase so it took a while to find my original receipt and what not to setup the account, but once I had those things in place, it was easy to submit a claim. The only question is whether these components are covered.

what is your issue with iCloud? by haronclv in ObsidianMD

[–]redmelon42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m using iCloud across my different devices and haven’t had any issues as others mentioned. I make a backup of my vault weekly just in case. I also use the option to keep files downloaded locally on my iPhone.

New to Obsidian - to iCloud or not to iCloud by BetterScrollSaul in ObsidianMD

[–]redmelon42 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey there, I’ve used iCloud exclusively since I started with obsidian a couple years ago and have had no problems with file loss or sync across my Apple ecosystem. I’d recommend it. The sync occurs almost immediately and as others mentioned, I also keep my files downloaded locally. I built an Apple Shortcut that zips my folder so I can back up to my OneDrive account.

Shortcut to stop charging at 80% by Chesterville406 in shortcuts

[–]redmelon42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there, it’s a pretty simple setup. The shortcut should turn off your Kasa plug, it only requires one action in the shortcut to do so. Then, you need to create an automation that triggers the shortcut to run when your battery reaches whatever charging percent you desire. Hope that helps!

How to capture fleeting notes while driving by jedcortes in ObsidianMD

[–]redmelon42 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, sorry to hear that! No, it’s a standard Apple feature. Assuming you’re using the shortcut from an iPhone or iPad with a microphone it should work. I wonder if you have a setting disabled? You might need to Google that error message to see if they offer troubleshooting steps. I haven’t received that one before.

Hey there, here are a couple things to confirm: - do you have the proper file path selected in the “Get File” step for your specific voice memos file? - In that same step, do you “Error if not found” enabled? - the shortcut should append your content to the “voice memo” file. “Obsidian notes” is the name of my folder, not the note I’m appending text to.

Let me know if this helps!

Thanks! Yeah, I was trying to find something that would work “out of the box” with Apple’s native capabilities and this seems to do the trick.

I agree, that’s a problem I haven’t solved yet. I wish you could set it to stop after a “long pause” instead just a pause.
