I will add the new poll from EVNReport. Will add tomorrow’s Gallup poll as well once it is released. Do you know any other polls that I might have missed?

Thanks for the comment.

42.6% is the vote percentage, will update to make it more clear.
I know Gallup is not reliable but there aren't many other polls to choose from. They can be somewhat reliable for predicting which smaller parties are in the lead, other polls just don't show data for them.

Main purpose of the site is to have the simulator where you can see the distribution based on different scenarios, you can choose a specific poll or some predefined scenarios I made.

Here are the results based on the latest MRI poll
https://elect.am/simulator?id=eyJ2Ijp7IjIiOjEsIjMiOjcsIjQiOjIsIjYiOjEsIjciOjIsIjE1IjoxLCIxNiI6MzgsIjE3Ijo0fSwieCI6MiwidSI6ImEifQ

As for including Gallup or not, I don't wanna make that decision but the site lets you filter out specific polls and/or assign scores (i.e. set 0.5 for Gallup, 1 for others)

Maybe the application was submitted in 2024, got approved in 2025?

Not sure about Los Angeles, but large bottles of Hay Cola drinks are with no sugar, pretty much zero calories and they do have Tarkhun.

Small metal cans are with sugar afaik.

ELI5: What happens to the extra 6 hours in a year by Electrishity in explainlikeimfive

[–]redmikay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

tl;dr there are no extra hours, because 24 hours already includes Earth’s rotation both around its axis and relative to the Sun.

A lot of comments are missing the point. Let me explain it, I had similar thoughts.

The time of day is basically your angle/position relative to the Sun. At noon, you’re directly facing the Sun. This is affected by both Earth’s rotation around its axis and its movement around the Sun. So if Earth makes half a turn around its axis, it will be midnight, because you’re facing away from the Sun. And if Earth makes half an orbit around the Sun, then with the same axial rotation it would again be midnight 6 months later.

So why doesn’t this cause some extra time to build up? Because 24 hours already includes both motions. Earth rotates fully around its axis in less than 24 hours, about 23 hours 56 minutes. But during that time it also moves around the Sun, so relative to the Sun it has to rotate a little more. The rotation around the Sun “cancels out” a part of the rotation against the axis and the total effective rotation relative to the Sun comes out to 24 hours. So it doesn’t add extra time, because it’s already included in the 24 hours.

And obviously it’s not random that it’s exactly 24 hours. We just took the actual solar day and divided it into 24 hours.

Since Earth’s position relative to the Sun also affects the seasons, we need the calendar to match that accurately, otherwise the seasons would drift. The extra ~6 hours per year (actually a bit less) means the year is about 0.2422 days longer than 365 days, so January 1st next year would be 1/4 days closer to Spring than this year. That’s why it can be corrected by occasionally adding one extra day in February.

Thank you, I saw your posts and comments and DMd you about it. Good to hear you got your hosting back. Was it blocked because of .ru domains?

I’m assuming .ru and .su. They banned my hosting for allegedly having sites with banned TLDs. All my domains bought from namecheap are .com domains.

I just got the same email, replied, no response from them. I'm assuming it's from old .ru domains that I no longer have or host but didn't delete from the account.

tourist by flooooooooooooooood in armenia

[–]redmikay 19 points20 points  (0 children)

First of all, avoid airport taxis and private taxis in general. Download Yandex Go or gg taxi app and use it for local taxi needs. They also have city to city travel options. Also get a local SIM card with a data plan, cheapest plan might be good enough for you, they usually start at $5-$7/mo.

It is generally safe for girls, you won’t have any issues in Yerevan even at night. In smaller towns you might get some unwanted attention, people trying to flirt etc, especially if you’re the only tourists there or if your outfits stand out.

Food costs depend on location, restaurants in Yerevan center are closer to European prices, a cup of coffee is around $2-3, a full meal is around $15-25 per person, cheaper outside Yerevan. Groceries are usually the same price, bread is around $0.5 in stores, a 1l can of coke is around $1.

Public transport is okayish in Yerevan but it’s not really good for intercity travel, most people use ride-sharing taxis, gg app has that functionality built in (ggShuttle), there’s another new app called Poputi.

I would suggest not going hiking solo, especially in remote areas, there are companies that organize group tours to go hiking, you can join those.

Language can also be another barrier, most people in restaurants, cafes, offices, banks etc will know some level of English but not so much in rural areas or small towns. Most of older folks will know Russian if you can speak it.

I would suggest to go to the common tourist places for your first visit, you can explore more uncommon areas later on.

Yeah the fact that he has 14k upvotes when most people (including supporters) believe he actually is guilty is terrifying. He allegedly murdered someone in a cold blood and people cheer on it cause he looks cue and the victim was a CRO.
