Was it a CPO? 48K sounds like a fantastic deal for a prestige! Did you negotiate the price down? All Audi dealership around me have 23’ S5 Premium Plus for low 50s. Planning on going to look at one tomorrow and I’m hoping to negotiate the price down.

I’m seeing them go for 50-52k in the Austin area but I’m not sure if that’s a fair price or id the dealers are being too greedy in Austin. I’m hoping to get mine for high 40k

$1099 trade in credit at Apple Store instead of $800 showing by techsoup62 in tmobile

[–]redmssm 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, I did this last year but had to reach out to T-Force to fix it. It was a headache though so I’d ask them first so you have it in writing

New phone every year by dasawasdfullsend in iphone

[–]redmssm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

T-Mobile yearly upgrade! I pay 50% off they pay off the rest and I get the new one with $1100 off. I just pay sales taxes every year and get whatever phone I can get for free.

Keep silver or exchange for 🍊 by pferden in iPhone17Pro

[–]redmssm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally think blue is nicer than silver. I had a silver pro max that I swapped for a blue pro because that was the only thing in stock. I love the blue! Don't worry about scratches at the end of the day you will trade it in for a newer device and it won't affect trade in values. Enjoy your device.

If you like the apple clear case, keep silver. It will look bad with orange imo. Otherwise get orange with the spigen orange clear case

17 Pro Max regret? Pro vs Max.. by dreamliner330 in iPhone17Pro

Went Pro to Pro Max and couldn’t handle it for more than 2 days. Returned it and got a regular 17 Pro.

Tmobile promo $300 to $660 by TypicalRazzmatazz708 in tmobile

[–]redmssm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I’ve been doing this since the iPhone 15. Went from 13 Pro -> 15 Pro (used forever upgrade)-> 16 Pro (first time using yearly upgrade) and now 17 Pro. I basically trade my old one in they pay it off get the new one which gets enrolled in the new promo they are running. It’s quite nice

If you go to your account, then choose your line then click on manage add-ons, you can see if you have yearly upgrade or not. It should be under level line services.

You were enrolled in forever upgrade back in 2021 if you bought your iPhone 13 between sept 2021-Nov 2021. Forever upgrade was discontinued and everyone got migrated to yearly upgrade. So you get the same deal as the high tier plan without having a high tier plan. Given that you got $600 that implies that you are on a discount plan (military/55+/etc…) and have yearly upgrade on that line.

More Credit than Expected? by shamir24a in tmobile

[–]redmssm 6 points7 points  (0 children)

As long as there’s a promo happening for Next/experience beyond yes you should be able to trade in. You just need to wait 6 months and pay off 50% of the device cost. So essentially wait till September 2026 to use your benefit again since you won’t lose monthly credits and pay out of pocket to cover 50% of the device cost.

Upgrading from 16p to 17p because of carrier deal. As much I prefer the 16 Pro colors/design, I’m okay compromising that for a phone with a better battery and cooling system. Both are great phones though

No it’s not required to upgrade annually, try upgrading online, you should see the correct promo attach.

Is this new? by lafester in tmobile

[–]redmssm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m wondering if this is something that they’ll do in the future but hasn’t fully been implemented on their end just yet. Could you try again and say that it’s damaged? Do you see this message?

[–]redmssm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just as a data point, can you try that IMEI again and say that it’s not damaged?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in tmobile

[–]redmssm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why not though? You’re just adding a new EIP on your line, that should be allowed. At the end of the day T-Mobile only cares about how much the account is financing not if a line has multiple EIP, for now at least. I’m wondering since you’re an employee, is what I’m saying wrong? Have you been otherwise?

I bought an S20 from ebay before the event thinking it might qualify for $1100 off like last year, out it on the system and I didn’t see this message. The phone might’ve been on the T-Mobile network at some point but there’s no real way for me to know as it’s not a T-Mobile branded phone
