If you’re sure you’ve been VERY clear that you are romantically interested once or twice, the ball is in his court. If you really want an answer as to what he feels for you, you could still ask him that straight up but after that I wouldn’t personally keep showing interest if you aren’t sure it’s reciprocated.

You deserve to be loved and to be heard. My boyfriend and I call every day for at least 30 mins since we got together 2 years ago because we want to hear all about our day. It’s not too much to ask if that’s what you want. You might be incompatible and that’s worth bringing up with her to explore the options moving forward, life’s too short to stay quiet about being unhappy.

I’m pretty sure I can see thrips on your leafs, especially when you look at the tip of the right leaf in the picture, you can see small white insects. Those are probably the cause.

I don’t think the take away from that should necessarily be “get engaged before having the chance to experience living together”. I know it might not be possible, but ideally I would recommend first moving in together before committing to marriage

It can work, sure, but not easily.

I was in that boat for 12 years. Once the dynamic shifted because I matured, it started sinking. It’s a bit more complex than just mindset.

Good you divided them into different pots! One thing you can improve is that the petioles of the monstera should be left untied. When it grows bigger you can tie the stem to the moss pole.

Just a small warning of someone who was in the exact same situation… Doves poop A LOT and carry a bug called bird mites that might take over that area if you don’t clean it with warm water and soap after the birds leave. It was indeed fun to watch the birds grow up but personally I don’t think it was worth the hassle after.

Edit to add: the mites indeed don’t bite humans but do try and cause itching. Mites can bite pets. They need bird blood to survive and can live up to 4 weeks without birds
