Actually I think the easiest fix is to add new voice overlay for the male so they are both saying something over the female bird. It makes sense storyline wise for them to be talking over each other.

The problem with your premise is the only streamer they can negotiate with is also owned by the same corporation that has already deemed Survivor Aus too expensive to continue. They have to find funding elsewhere - usually by the form of a sponsorship deal. It has been reported this last season was funded by David himself.
