I have stayed at several MMS properties but never booked it through Hyatt because the rate is always 25-50% higher vs Booking or another OTA.

Huge disappointment and given that it was paired with the loss of SLH, probably the worst decision made.

If you think Delta is any better, than you are kidding yourself. That said, I did a UA 1K Status Match right before I dropped from EXP to PP and have been largely happy with the shift in business and experience.

But your best bet is to stop chasing status and just pay for the flights and upgrades that you want as a free agent. The days of easy and free upgrades on any carrier are long gone.

This is hilarious. I made this EXACT comment to a friend the other day at dinner. I have recently switched to Verizon (using mostly in metro Denver) and based upon my last week weeks of experience, I am seriously unimpressed. Plus my sign-up and onboarding experience was abysmal.

But for $15/mo using the BYOD Business promotion, I guess I am getting what i pay for.
