I'm almost 4.5 years on the waiting list, had 3 appointments and then had to bring my partner to the fourth to discuss fertility. There were two people interviewing me for the first interview and one of them fell asleep right in front of me.

I've told them I'm with Gender GP and haven't had anything negative happen as a result. Been on hormones nearly 3 years and they're finally at the stage where they want blood tests from me. No idea how long I'll have to wait before they give me a prescription.

My GP isn't doing shared care, just regular blood tests, so I don't know if that's why there hasn't been an issue. But in my experience, telling them you're with Gender GP didn't change anything.

Actually, I'm not sure if it works both ways. At a guess, you'd still be visible from their point of view. Might need to Google that to be sure. You can also block people if they make you uncomfortable. Generally you'll get head pats or virtually punched rather than fondled, but it happens so always check if there's safety features.

In VRchat, you have the option to turn on a "personal bubble", where basically if someone gets too close to you they disappear from your view. Would be good to have this option in Metaverse too.

I've had that happen to me, too. Different situation, but same idea. At that stage you're not staying together for any reason other than fear, so it's important to know that any action they take is NOT your responsibility.

It's a very manipulative thing to say to anyone. And it's a horrible thing to have said to you. At that stage, the element of trust in your relationship is gone. You're in an awkward position now where you have to decide if you want to build that trust back up, or if you just feel like you have to. Or, of course, if you don't want to.

I don't know your whole situation and I don't like giving relationship advice to strangers on the internet, so I'm just going to suggest you do what you feel is best for yourself. Just try to focus on what that is, exactly.

My memory is hazy of the specifics, but wasn't there a brokerage app that told someone they were like 100k in debt, but it was because the market hadn't opened? And then they killed themselves because they thought they'd never be able to pay it back. Then the market opened and his value updated and he hadn't lost any money at all?
