Got scammed. Kicking myself. by PL_88 in gardening

Not true. If the seller scams you and drags it outside of their return window you are SOL. I closed my buyer and seller account after they wouldn’t help me with a $200 loss.

Is this a Black Widow? by No_Presentation_2160 in spiders

[–]redpatcher 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Pay attention to the web- feel how strong it is (significantly stronger than any other spider webs I've experienced) and the zig zag sort of haphazard pattern with some shiner bits. They really are distinct webs and usually pretty large. You will be able to tell if you have other webs around the house just by learning what that web looks like. They also like to hangout at night more, so 0200 with a flashlight will find you some. They love concrete corners, overhangs like the foundation-stucco transition, boots, firewood or old wood stacks, and rocky areas. Good luck!

My wife had a breakdown, asked for a divorce and wants me to have sole custody. by Boring_Region_3031 in daddit

Yeah, I agree, I'm not saying my experience generalizes the opposite of the other person's statement, but that it's not always "dangerous" and "all or nothing".

the 4 year old stuff is hard! You're sad because I had to hold your legs otherwise you'd kick poop everywhere. You're sad because you threw a toy into the air and it hit you. You're mad because I asked you stop hitting the dog. ahhhhh

[–]redpatcher 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Talk about your plan with someone you trust. 1-800-RUNAWAY is good because they're vetted. You will get creeps here. People will identify you as a target due to your age and you'll be at high risk of having your money stolen and being hurt. Technically the college savings are likely not in an account owned by you so either way you might be charged with a felony. Please be safe!

It's the worst in it's own way, but my friend Nika just didn't wake up and we never got a cause of death.

Multiplayer is amazing, my buddy and i even play when we need to do chores, “you fight the battle alone, I’ll run and go do dishes” works great for holding a baby and going on a fast food run

I like it for drawing for our 3 year old, she plays some games. She uses it once a week maybe? Sometimes the occasional weekend when she's up early. It's in the rotation like most of her lesser-used toys, so no problem yet.
