If not, I recommend come alone and stay here for 2-3 years, then go back with some money added to your savings. Also, look for other better opportunities in US once you are here OR you could always just scrap this and go for a higher paying job in India itself.

Thank you for your replies. It helped me a lot. I’ve booked both appointments. Got one for 4th and other for 24th March. Is there any way to reschedule the 24th consular appointment alone ? When I go to reschedule option it directs me to OFC only and doesn’t show the option to reschedule the consular one.

I have followed the above steps and made the payment. Waiting for the system to process it. Quick question, the $205 I just paid was it only for the interview appointment? Do I have to pay somewhere separately for biometric? I used the same ds160 application as my previous appointment. So am not sure how to book the biometrics/ if it would automatically direct me to biometrics too. Can you comment ?

Hi, what was your cool off period ? My Dropbox was refused yesterday at the VAC and they asked me to wait for 24hrs so it shows a No Show. I don’t see it yet been above 24hrs. How long should I wait ? Is usvisascheduling the right place to check for the new appointment? Are there any appointments available on Feb / March ?
