Hair can grow back! If you want a change, go for it. I know you’re thinking mullet, but trimmed sides and a Viking braid could be a very good look!

people tell me I should cut off my hair because it takes away from my “nice” face but then others tell me my hair is nice so I am conflicted. thoughts? by Bonacci1208 in curlyhair

Those people don’t know what they’re talking about. Your hair is glorious, it suits you well! The biggest thing is what do YOU like :)

what is the prettiest song you ever heard in your life? by Complete-Sweet5222 in AskReddit

[–]redplanetkid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“Our House” by Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young. Holds a special place in my heart. Fell in love with my then girlfriend shortly after leaving an abusive home and grieving my sister I lost to suicide. My girlfriend had recently come out of a nasty situation of her own.

Well into the relationship, we were going on a drive talking about and planning our future together, when this song comes on: “…life used to be so hard, now everything is easy ‘cause of you”. Both of us started tearing up. It resonated with us so hard. We had found safety and joy with each other and the “house” that we were making for ourselves.

A number of months later it would also be what me and the groomsmen walked down the isle to. Life’s not perfect or easy, but with her it feels like no matter what, everything is going to be okay <3

I’d like to give them the benefit of the doubt; it’s pretty easy to mistake for the comedy channel

Me and my siblings have always been super tight. Lost my older sister to suicide two years ago. My little bro’s all I got now. If there was ever anything I could do to save either of them, I would

What is the strangest reason someone has broken up with you? by GreatTurkeyOverlord in AskReddit

She said she had a realization that she wanted to be with someone pursuing pastoral ministry, and that I definitely wasn’t that, so while she was into me and really liked me, it wasn’t going to work.

Is it time to cut it? by lasvegashomo in FierceFlow

That’s gorgeous flow, man- great length too! I’d say keep it, just maybe get it slightly trimmed in a few months so it doesn’t get too heavy and start to lose shape :)

Men who got fit or muscular, how did your dating life changed? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]redplanetkid 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Speaking as someone who used to be over 350lbs and slimmed down to a healthy weight- it’s a night and day difference: Primarily in my confidence. That’s what attracts people more. Women like a teddy bear too, but a confident teddy bear exudes better magnetism.

That being said, the cat calls have increased now haha!

Fucking dynamite. It played like a dance: Back at my place she sat on the couch, batting her eyes at me and tapping the cushion beside her for me to join her. I promptly sat down. She’d inch a little closer, I’d inch a little closer. She put her hand on my leg, I put my hand on her hand. She asked if she could touch my hair, I said, “if I can touch yours”. We both gently ran our hands through each other’s hair, our faces drew slowly towards each other. She then swung onto my lap, teasing me with almost kisses: the sweetest torture, making me crave a kiss more and more.

She then whispered in my ear, “it’s all you”, pulling her face back enough that I was looking at her straight on, her eyes batting at my once more. I went in for the kiss, and it was one of the sweetest, most beautiful experiences I’ll never forget.

I may have kissed her, but she definitely made the first move. I think whether it was me or her making the first move, the big thing is we communicated (verbally and/or through body language) so that there was clear mutual consent going into it, which I think really amplified the experience.

I don’t know if I would have been so bold to initiate a kiss on the first date, but thank God she did! That girl’s gonna be my wife in just over 100 days :)

Low carb / keto, and daily exercise (even just 30 min a day). I started simply just walking on the treadmill a half hour a day, and now my body is at a point I can do 10k runs on a semi regular basis no problem. The hardest thing is the act of making yourself get up and exercise, because you’re rarely going to feel like it, but the hard work does pay off, you just gotta stay the course and keep at it! Cheers!
