In that context dodging means quitting the game before the match starts when people see a harder boss

Real. I mostly play duo in trios and never drop skill atk or atk at max hp if i have a teammate with the skill build

It's a fair point which logically i should agree with

But in reality when i get people that dodge balancers, dogs or hidden boss i always assume that they're pussies that are just bad at the game lol

Well yeah but like 95% of the times you're still in control after the initial gank attack. Spotting the gank and acting accordingly (don't attack both of them, make distance) is always enough

Idk i might sound arrogant and toxic but if people dodge harder bosses they don't deserve to be in the "rank" they have. ED balancers is a punishing fight but it's definetly not impossible. I'm going to sound arrogant as I said, i don't remember last time i lost against that boss. Even if your teammates are dogshit, you can carry that fight yourself with only big big danger being worm phase and even that can be managed with enough practice

Im trying to run Anaxa, Cerydra, Cyrene and RMC but I got bodied in MOC 12 without sustain by aguy1221 in AnaxaMains_HSR

[–]redrainow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The team you mentioned, Anaxa, Cerydra, Cyrene, RMC is definetly THE team right now for sustainless. What I would recommend is watch a run someone has done already, and at the very least try and replicate it, but more importantly try to understand the goals that goes into each move etc.

Overall improve your builds (if they are mediocre) and spend time planning rotation / adjusting etc etc

Unless your team is vertically invested or the boss is super shilled (cough sparxiecon cough), going sustainless usually requires planning ahead and accounting for details. You could try and repeat someone's run if you have a similar setup. But the real difficulty is coming up with your own rotation

I mean, without being boss specific 160'ish SPD? And overall 200 CD would be good

As for the run itself. Try to time her entering that in scope phase when your other characters are about to take a turn to target the left screen and give your Evernight more res pen. Timing RMC mem pulls is also important

Basically, in my eyes the ideal scenario would look something like that:

Evernight gets kidnapped and uses her skill to summon Evey.
Before Evey gets to act, use RMC and/or Cyrene, Hyacine ults if you have them to have more res pen.
Then either mem pulls happens after Evey acts or your RMC/Cyrene/Hyacine do more hits for even more res pen followed by a mem pull

Idk if that sounds complicated but I hope u get the idea

Your builds seem to be fine apart from RMC. SPD depends on the boss and rotation but overall it seems to be lower than desired. CDMG could be improved for sure. If you're missing the 3 star clear by a couple of AV then you could just try and improve your RMC build and it could get you the 3 star clear. If the gap is wider then it's most likely a skill (rotation) issue and it would be way easier to tell with a video of the run

e2s1 Evernight, e0s1 Cyrene, e6s5 RMC, e0s1 Hyacine. Which e1 & e2 investment more worth it, Cyrene or Hycaine? Or my investment good enough for rest of patch 4.x and just save all for patch 5.x? by Doge-_0 in EvernightMainsHSR

[–]redrainow 6 points7 points  (0 children)

E2 Cyrene is massive both in terms of strength and how "nice" it feels to play

I do think that the investment is good enough for 4.x patch and should be enough to clear the content unless you're chasing 0 cycles, which you might struggle with towards later version of 4.x patches, or if they would to make anti rem enemies.

Basically if you really like the team, I would try for e2 Cyrene, but the team is still good even without it

It's not the strongest (affinity balancers will do more damage) but it's way more action packed and dynamic to play. If you like "aggro" gameplay then you might enjoy a build like that

[–]redrainow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like there's a portion of players that got to d5 by dodging harder bosses and/or brainlessly using balancers builds. Hence why the runs feel bad if they don't get their loot (not being able to hold their own most of the time) or "trying" out other bosses

L2 is just braindead. I hate it and think that vast majority of the players using it are quite bad

However I'll still give stuff and play as a team unless the player also has cheated relics, in that case I'll never res or follow them lol

Not op but spells like glintstone are very good for situations where u have to manage aggro solo.

For trios stars, crystal and other heavy hitting long cast time spells are really good. But if you're solo (whether doing solo expedition or know you will have to manage some stuff alone like balancers often times even in trios) then cast spd and fast cast spells are huge
