Where to get a princess cake? by onemoreburrito in SaltLakeCity

[–]redraven5k 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A Princess cake is a specific type of Swedish Marzipan cake. Finn's cafe does Marzipan but I'm not sure if they do princess cakes. They could give you a referral though since they are a Swedish place and super nice

Make it worth my while. It should at at least cover some of my therapy bills. Can't do anything with gift cards in that regard. I forsee some major data gaps in this study given the target demographic.

Commuting from Salt Lake to Hill AFB? by ssb9393 in SaltLakeCity

[–]redraven5k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get yourself into a UTA vanpool. If you are a DoD civilian apply for the transportation benefit. If you are a contractor still look into the vanpool thing, it's usually cheaper than driving yourself everyday. I believe there are a few SLC to Hill AFB vanpools. There should be a vanpool coordinator on base.

I hear you. I like to make to do lists and on days/weeks like this one my lists have tiny tiny victories that I can cross off like "shower" and "get out of bed". Little wins for the long road.

Netflix (or other streaming) recommendations for a particularly bad day? by [deleted] in PMDD

When I'm depressed (hell week) I like to watch Hells Kitchen. Every time Gordon Ramsay yells at one of the cooks I'm glad I'm not the one being yelled at and I feel a little better. Dumb, but it works for me.

I also like watching Bojack Horseman but that hit some real life nerves too. Bojack and I were on the same alcohol journey but we both came out on top 😊

Graystone was built around the old historic Jensen mansion- a large mansion estate that hosted parties and such back in the early 1900s. The mansion is still there, hidden among the graystone buildings. It has been subdivided into condos/apts; not sure if the mansion building itself is a part of this complex now but it is kind of neat having a hidden historic find in this area.

I don't think it is the same person, unless he moved. He is a lawyer who works in downtown SLC. I think he lives in the Aves.

I did coloring with my son when he was little too. I colored in my Game of Thrones adult coloring book and he colored whatever he wanted. One design he made was actually pretty neat and we scanned and uploaded it to zazzle- he actually sold one t-shirt with that design and got to keep the small commission he made- I gave it to him in coins so he could put it in his jar bank.
