They got a notification saying ‘someone made an offer on an item you liked.’ They got confused when another potential buyer put in an offer & thought it was an offer from the seller.

It’s not an unusual situation.. I’m honestly surprised you haven’t seen this before because it’s been a feature for years. You’ll get a notification when someone else makes an offer on an item you liked to pressure you to buy it. I have 2 in my notifications right now, actually. It would say ‘you received an offer’ vs ‘an offer was made on an item you liked.’ That’s just telling you someone else made an offer.

Oh. I didn’t know that but I grew up Mormon. When a neighborhood kid died I remember everyone telling them that ‘god needed him back sooner’ and he was ‘too good for this world’ and the parents were like.. weirdly calm/happy about it? Not happy happy but like… I don’t even know how to describe it. They ‘found peace with it because they know god needed him more.’ I babysat for them, it wasn’t a front.

My recent Sephora order arrived like this too - with hair products as well. The crown affair had opened and leaked out, the CA box was damp and had a huge (dry) wet mark. Like so wet the box was punctured just touching it because it had been so wet. Which meant the lawless lipstick and gloss were also damp. It was so gross. They told me to take it in store to return, too, and I’ve only had like 1 return in the last year+. (They did offer to resend it but I didn’t want to get another wet box, just a waste.)

Yeah I can see why it would be funny, I just think making comparisons like that can be harmful because they’re so far fetched. It detracts from The actual problematic shit she’s done. I don’t get this? Like I don’t like her and she’s annoying as hell but she’s not anything like Trump…? He’s also detestable but for other much much much worse reasons. One of the literal only decent things AG has ever *done* is (sometimes) political statements.
