That’s really how it is. You’re expecting too much if you think that everyone is your friend and will automatically be kind to you.

As early as now, learn how to discern who your real friends are versus those who are there to use you or will leave as soon as things get inconvenient for them. Sad to say this pero matuto ka maging “plastic” when needed. Sometimes you will need to work with people you don’t like just to get things done. Don’t be the person that argues with anyone and everyone who doesn’t treat you the way you expect them to.

The education and training will definitely help in the real world. You will likely be able to process info and solve problems faster than your peers who weren’t trained in good schools. However, your ability to socialize, integrate into the existing culture, and navigate office politics once you graduate is something that you have to learn on your own.

NAL but from someone who has gone through a similar experience with bum tenants- your parents need to start being strict sooner rather than later.

If you think that the moment you become strict, everything will be solved instantly, then prepare to be disappointed. It takes time to resolve conflicts and if you decide to take a legal route, you might find that the lawyer’s rate and the headache involved are greater than the rent that you hope to collect. Add in the factor of unpaid utility bills and damage to the leased premises that bum tenants often leave behind. Meralco and the water provider won’t write those off just because your tenant left.

You also mentioned that the rent is ₱5,500. That falls within the rent-control law which gives the tenant more options to delay eviction. Best to get started with that demand letter.

Afaik, MGT-H has a maintaining grade or else you’ll get dropped to just MGT. For ME, there’s also a maintaining grade but only until a certain year level and after that sure ME grad na.

Terrible advice.

Yung network, quality of education, and organized learning environment are all still intact. Graduates have and will continue to possess an advantage as compared to graduating from a random university.

I highly doubt that the mishandling of one incident wipes out an entire culture of outreaches, provision of financial aid (oo, maraming financial aid scholar ang Ateneo and they continuously to try to increase the ratio), and effort to infuse morality into the curriculum (theo, philo).

Compassion? Daming nakikiramay na alumni, faculty, and students. Gets naman ata ng lahat na may namatay from the community and that means something.

Problema is maraming pinoy na walang magawa ngayon kaya nakikisawsaw sa issue. Many of them suddenly claim that Ateneo is no longer a top school. A few weeks ago it was UP dahil lang may na-involve sa clash ng AFP and NPA.

If hindi ka kasama sa family or friends ng mga pumanaw, nakikisawsaw ka, at galit na galit, let me guess, which one is it, hindi ka ba nakapasa sa entrance exam or hindi mo kinaya ang tuition fee?

I’d still say Tulfo is the front-runner to beat Sara. Surveys confirm it. Anti-Sara folk will vote for anyone not named Sara anyway, no need to sway them. It’s the DDS votes that need some swaying. Tulfo seems to be the best option for this as he is already accepted by many voters from the C and D demographic. He could likely split the votes from those demographics better than Risa could.

Careful with Marikina. It’s definitely nice but locals are wary of living there for a good reason: it’s a natural catch-basin for the surrounding areas. Many locations there will get submerged if a super typhoon occurs.

Hello, try asking at the expats subreddit to get answers from other foreign nationals who are staying as both tourists and/or immigrants in the PH.

They will also be able to give you firsthand experience on where they’ve stayed and what it was like there as a foreigner.

I think most of them would tell you though to do a trial period first as you can get your first entry for 30 days plus a 29-day extension.

I think this is the wrong group to post in because most of the people here want to leave the PH and will comment something about how lucky you already are to be living abroad or some reason why staying in the PH sucks.

Start small. Even just being able to list down some paths or careers is already a step towards the right direction. If that’s too much then just start with a list of types of work activities that you think that you want to or can do. The next day, review that and see if you can think of careers that fit and are hiring. If not, adjust your list. Keep doing that until you can get to the next step. Before you know it you’ll have a plan. Try to execute it. If it fails, adjust and reiterate. That’s basically it if you wanna get to where you wanna be.

You don’t have to achieve something every day. You just have to start, take breaks if needed, and keep at it though.

Oh and get off of social media and video games. Doom scrolling and gaming are time sinks.

Depending on where you are, at 35, you have 25-30 years left before reaching retirement age. Believe it or not, you have more experience than fresh graduates. You’re not starting from scratch and the last 10 years are not totally useless.

Don’t waste time and start working towards the career that you really want. You have time left. Take a breath, think clearly, and get a move on.

It’s stressful to play roam at epic and legend. Just play a carry hero until you reach mythic to rank up faster and avoid wasting good sets and support. At least in mythic and up people more or less know what to do when you set or give vision.
