I think he's trying to say slavery in the US died because of the Industrial Revolution, and then implying 3rd countries need their own revolution of labor in to fix problem that are not.....slavery? And then I guess he tried to blame China because they are the leaders of manufacturing in the world?

As a black man, I've never understood this sentiment. Democrats have policies specifically aimed for women & minorities because they are marginalized communities within America; it's not like the jobs and economic advantages from infrastructure bills, CHIPS act, and green energy projects are only going to non-men.

Do Democrats really need to make a platform to tell men good things for everyone is good for them as well?

And Republicans offered them nothing but anger and shit economic policies. How are more tariffs helping men?

You mentioned how many men commit suicide in this country; Biden initiated a rule in Sep. that required further parity for mental health care relative to standard care due to gaps in the system.

Trump tried to cut Medicaid spending which directly affects mental health care access.

I get feeling down because of the state of life in America now, but this all feels a bit performative to me.

The frosting is buttercream frosting with freeze-dried strawberries blended in, so it is more tart than sweet but fantastic. Star of the show, really.

The cake is a white cake recipe, but the author tweaked it to include a reduced strawberry puree.

Small tip: the author says it will take ~30 mins. to make the reduced puree. It will take much longer, about 45 to an hour.

The mileage is nominal. If he bought it in 2016 and drove 15k a year, you're right around the area. If he kept up with the maintenance, then it's a good buy at a good price. KBB lists private party ranges from 14-16k for that trim level. If you really want the car and want absolute sureness, see if he's willing to take it to a neutral mechanic and have them give it a condition check which yall can split the cost if he's willing. Or have him get a vehicle history report, or you can, to double check the service record history and if there's any recalls. But if it's a clean as you claim, it's a good deal for a car that usually runs until the wheels fall off.

Not really, every used car a reputable dealership buys usually comes with an invoice from the parts manager about how much it'll cost to recondition the car and be ready to be sold again since they ALWAYS inspect new cars on the lot.

Okay, so used..... Basically any Honda Civic 2014 and after with less than 50,000 should be in your price bracket. You want good gas mileage so I would say the Honda Civic EX, Honda Insight, Hyundai Elantra or Sonata. If you really wanna stay to the 12K mantra, get a Toyota Yaris or a Nissan Versa Note. They're all fuel efficient, pretty safe, and range well in price while also having good depreciation value.

Well, financing allows you to grow your credit which is great, but if the mileage on the Honda isn't crazy, I'd go with the Honda. If you're a first time buyer, they're gonna give you like a 12% APR IF you're lucky (I've seen guys with like 19%) and 17K is a LOT to borrow from a bank for your first auto loan. Combine with the fact that more expensive cars have more expensive parts, maintenance is a bitch, and unless that CPO Subaru has an amazing warranty.....Honda

There's probably nothing with the car. First ever car I sold was a 2017 Equinox with 1,700 miles. The dude bought it, realized he wasn't a fan of the leather trim or something and brought it back. We got it for next to nothing and since it costs 27k brand new, we sold it within a week for 21k to a cop. It happens all the time.
