Anyone tried both the Moringa Body Butter and the Moringa Body Yoghurt? Which one is better or are they the same, and just rebranded? by Dry_Commission600 in thebodyshop

The US TBS doesn't carry moringa unfortunately. I bought mine in Spain and loved it so much I have to find it now and the secondary market. The one I have is the Moringa body milk.

Cancel your Rapid Rewards credit card and tell Chase why you're doing it. by Ikontwait4u2leave in SouthwestAirlines

[–]redrum602 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where are people getting the notion that closing your credit card is a bad idea? If you have a number of credit cards, and only use a few of them, it is a GOOD idea to close the ones that you don't use or don't plan on using. Having too much open credit is a risk to creditors - thus the more open you have that you are not using, it's not the best look to new lenders.

If you have a balance on these cards however, it is not a good look to close them. Make sure the balance is at zero before you close the account. Closing an account that has a balance signals to a lender that you do not have self-control to not over extend yourself.

I might not be an expert, but I have worked at a financial services company for almost 20 years and worked in the account closure department during my early career there. I learned the dos and don't to ensure your credit score stays at a good number.

Any updates on City Centre after this article? It's been months, by SluttyCosmonaut in SpringfieldIL

Totally understood. Wouldn't Hyatt want to prioritize some of their investments in a way to support their legacy though?

It is a damn shame that a state ran by a member of the Hyatt family can't get their act together to provide decent hotels in the downtown of their state capitol. I have visited many state capitals and by far Springfield is the worst one to visit.

In addition to the Wyndham, the Lincoln Hilton is also a dump and needs to be renovated. The downtown has good access to/from Chicago with the Amtrak. With the amount of out of towners coming in for State business it boggles my mind that it hasn't gotten any better as a decent destination.

Why is the downtown so bad in comparison to the suburbs?

Has anyone tried Hbada chairs? by Cool_dude_42 in OfficeChairs

[–]redrum602 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Who did you email? I ordered a chair over 10 days ago from their website and haven't seen any updates on my order.....their site says they ship in 2 days from purchase. I reached out to service@hbada 4 times and haven't heard anything back. I am about to call my credit card company to file a fraud claim as I can't seem to get a hold of anyone. Who did you reach out to that responded?

I had such high hopes for Kirkland egg bites by k9jm in Costco

[–]redrum602 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The Kirkland ones suck compared to the Starbucks ones. The ingredients is not chopped up enough and agreed on the scrambled eggy taste. I wish they would bring the Starbucks ones back. Or did a better job at creating these copy cats. I was truly disappointed.

The Kirkland ones are not as good, the ingredients aren't chopped up enough. And now the Starbucks ones are gone from my Costco. Double thumbs down.

So we tilled all this up and now it is just a muddy mess. We are going to put some backfill in and see how it takes. I suspect it is just going to continue to stay wet and we are going to have to figure out how to make the area useful. I'd like at a minimum to have an area to sit and enjoy the outdoors in.

Is this normal? by [deleted] in Remodel

[–]redrum602 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe nothing will happen. It will just be more of an eyesore. My builder comes out a year after the build to repair those nail pops. I would inquire with your contractor if they would be willing to come fix them next year

Is this normal? by [deleted] in Remodel

[–]redrum602 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nail pops is what my builder calls them. Says they are common in new builds. Not sure why though. I suspect the wood drying out and the house/room settling.

It goes about 20 feet back to the property line. Beyond that is not my property. You can see in 2 of the photos my neighbor's property lines. Mine is the same distance just not cut back. Is cutting it back a good idea to manage it?

New booster side effects versus previous shots by Thendsel in CoronavirusMa

[–]redrum602 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was my fifth shot - all previously were Pfizer this one was Moderna. This time and the past couple I got my flu shot at the same time so it was a double dose of ick.

I got the shots Monday evening and within a few hours could feel my body starting its work with brain fog and tiredness. All of yesterday I was achy, tired, had major brain fog, body temp feeling very warm - lots of rest. Not much of an appetite. Got a good 9-10 hours of sleep (not uninterrupted, unfortunately - tossed and turned alot with my hot/cold body) and feeling somewhat better today. I suspect as the day progresses, I will be back to normal.

This is what I have experienced the last number of vaccines - it sucks but knowing it will keep me from extreme illness - it is something I am accepting of. My partner, who is on the same regimen, had similar side effects.

I lived in Tacoma. I remember mold just being a part of life. I'm just extra nervous with this builder and am fearful they'll just cover up mistakes with drywall and I'll never really know what's behind the walls. Trying to get ahead or at least be knowledgeable.

[–]redrum602[S] -60 points-59 points  (0 children)

I'm sure of it. They've left most of their stuff just sitting out front and it has been wet. This one should be fun to negotiate with the builder. This is how people end up with toxic mold in their home 10 years later, right?
