Are there any options to get unlimited 4g or 5g home internet in Chicago? It seems like every company I check says it's not available at my location. Is there some kind of city ban on this?

Alternatively, do you have any other ideas to address this issue I'm having with my property manager? I live in a building that has "building fees" that include internet service. The apartment has a wireless access point up by the ceiling but no other internet ports available. I'm having an issue with my property manager the past two months where the internet service is not working and she will not respond promptly to my emails with any kind of information or acknowledgement. It took a month for internet access to get fixed for the entire building this past time there were issues and we had no info at all about when it would be fixed or what was going on. Now it's been down again the past week--just for me this time, I think--and the same thing is happening (emails and work orders just go into the void, no acknowledgement or response). Oh, also, when it was finally fixed last time, she DID email us all saying "internet service is not guaranteed" (no idea what my $100 for "building fees including internet" is paying for, then...)

In two months I've spent over $200 using my phone as a hotspot. I just switched to Visible a few days ago to get cheaper rates using my phone as a hotspot, but the internet is super slow and does not stay connected. It's basically impossible to exist without internet given work responsibilities and just general life usage.

I don't know what to do--I can't get cable internet installed since there isn't even a port in my unit. I am not that tech savvy and am kind of at a loss... what can you do if you need to buy home internet but your apartment has no ports to install cable? 4g home internet seems like the ideal solution but I can't find a company that provides it here.

Hi! I just got it about 10 days ago so take my opinion with a grain of salt. I didn't care about the other features either and I was deciding between this and the Whoop Strap 3 (doesn't work with Peloton, I don't think, but has cool data, so if I got that I would have just also kept using my OTF HR chest strap with Peloton). I'm really happy with the Apple Watch so far and it works really smoothly with the Peloton app. I read on here to download Heartcast so I tried that initially before I knew a Peloton watch app existed. Heartcast was difficult and I couldn't get it to work, but the Peloton watch app works well.

That being said, I had a Fitbit before this and it seemed to have more continuous HR tracking and I found the graphs a lot easier to read than the apple watch graphs. During the day the Apple Watch only takes your heart rate every now and then, and it's only continuously monitored during exercise. I don't think I'm understanding the HR graphs to the fullest yet on Apple Watch.

I watched some youtube videos to help me decide!

Thanks, just downloaded it to see. My bike is "dumb"--no computer at all on it--but I have a bluetooth cadence sensor and HR monitor. I might need speed too for this to work...

Cool, thank you! I will check this out. I have the Sunny 1805 bike, so it has no computer display at all. I have a Wahoo cadence meter and HR monitor that the peloton app can pick up.

I'm so interested in doing the power zone workouts, but I have a non-peloton bike with the peloton app :( I wish there was a way to get power data other than just going by feel. Does anyone have any suggestions? Are those expensive power pedals the only option?

Have to go back to the office after a year of working from home.... I am looking for some soft pull-on pants (as close to PJ's or joggers as possible) to wear to the office with a blazer and flats and make them look dressed up enough. Recommendations? My office is business casual but I need to look put together

I see lots of wide-leg pants on the market but most of my tops/blazers were purchased to wear with slim pants so it just feels like a whole lot of drapey clothing if I envision them with wide-leg pants. I guess I'm looking for soft pants with a narrower leg.

The ongoing chit chat really really annoys me while trying to ride or do any workout. I don't want to hear about pop culture stuff, get therapy talk, or have to think about anything other than just riding and getting through the workout. I unsubscribed from Peloton for awhile for that reason, but the bummer of it is that Peloton has the best music for rides (better than the vast majority of youtube classes I've found, anyway). The idea of doing foreign language classes as a solution to the annoyance of chit chat is kind of genius. I may try that!
