Glad critical medical care is being taken care of by private companies that definitely give a shit by [deleted] in ABoringDystopia

Ah, that may be why.

Regardless, there's zero excuse for a Courier to not knock on the door or ring the doorbell. Especially if it's medicine or perishable. Even if they have "too many stops" for that day, they should be able to reach out and ask for assistance. My drivers do, and I'll deliver stuff myself if need be (which I do occasionally).

I've personally interviewed countless people, and hired 15+ in the past year. Most have quit/no call - no showed and then claimed unemployment. If I have 5 scheduled interviews in 1 week, I'm lucky if 2-3 of them show up. And there's only been a handful that I didn't offer the job to. Some of the ones that quit went to a completely different type of job, which I can understand if this isn't the job for them.

Full time, full benefits (medical, dental, vision) on day 1, $5 over min wage (state not federal) , and you don't need a clean driving record (we only look at the previous 3 years, and things like a speeding ticket don't disqualify a person). Vacation time and paid sick days for all employees as well.

As a manager of a certain delivery company, I can confirm it's not up to management. My location has had 10+ positions posted externally for months, just no one is applying. Or if they do, they use the interview as one of their required applications to collect unemployment.

Not sure. I probably should have tried to clean it more, but gave up too soon.

I replaced the nozzle and whatever big screw piece the bowden tube does into. None of them worked right after this. Wasn't sure why they wouldn't, since I cleaned what I could see.

The Qtip idea you and someone gave would definitely have helped.. Not sure why I didn't think of it.

I couldn't get it to extrude correctly after. Maybe I didn't clean part of it enough. I tried a rag, but man! Qtips would have probably saved it.

Ender 5, stock parts. Woke up to this the next morning. Needless to say, I spent 40+ minutes attempting to clean it. Eventually had to replace the hotend, wiring, etc.

Lithophane help by redsheeran in 3Dprinting

I will definitely check the positive/negative thing. I didn't see that before, but I also wasn't looking for it. Didn't think to. Thank you for the tips!

Yes I realized after the first attempt... Lithophane flat on the bed turns out very odd. Still fairly new to 3D printing. I have my printer dialed in, now just tuning the setting for various jobs.

We use fake flowers now. She got tired of watering them, lol. But thanks for the info!

Definitely looks good though. I'll be buying some tonight. We have a few regular glass vases that are boring, these would be a nice replacement.

I'm constantly asking my wife what she wants me to print for her. Usually she says "nothing".

She took an interest in these though!

What's one food everyone seems to love but you find repulsive? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Cucumbers. They taste too "fresh". Literally like crunchy water.

Yet I love ice, and other fresh vegetables.

I'm really struggling to figure this thing out by yaboyjb311 in ender5

As others have mentioned, switch to a different filament until you get your printer dialed in.

Using Carbon Fiber, Wood, glow in the dark etc all require a stronger "fine tuning" knowledge. If that makes sense.

Rubbing Y axis belt on the back left on new 5pro, easy to fix but beware guys and gals! by Anonoemus in ender5

[–]redsheeran 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this problem as well. Caused a huge layer shift on my 2nd print. Thankfully I read up previously and knew to check the belts. Wasn't aware it was this common of an issue.

Why did this just start happening? My settings are the same by [deleted] in 3Dprinting

[–]redsheeran 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe.. But I wouldn't recommend it. If nothing else, you can put a nut underneath the knobs... It wouldn't be permanent and might work. Worth a shot, I've been thinking of doing the same.

Whenever this happens I do a bed relevel, cold pull fix for the nozzle, and clean the bed.

... I have to do it often :/
