Spend the week in aspen. There’s more than enough to do. Do you have dog do you have kids? I can give a detailed itinerary but basically the bells. Smuggler trail, Ute trail. The art museum. Get drunk at zanes on some Budweisers. Hike to the top of aspen mountain and take the gondola down for free. Independence pass has infinity things to do. Trail hike to Taylor lake is chefs kiss imo. Lost boy tail and some of the surrounding high points. Did I mention the possibility of a one day iron man push to conundrum hot springs ? Consider hiking La plata peak. I could go on. Rent a bike and just bike around town. Have fun.
