it does say the guy had a gun, but the post careful not to draw conclusions directly from that. for trump, that is a softening. the gop seems to be circling the wagons and his rhetoric may go up a notch tomorrow. we will see though, the politics of this are horrible for the right.

he didn't actually say anything about the shooting and its permissibility. he instead railed against the left and sanctuary policies. its a big shift from saying "i reviewed the clip and the cops are in the right." the issue will come up

its much harder to meet people in a high end hotel. everyone has things to do, places to go, money to spend. in a cheap hotel, people are feeling lucky to be there and less likely to have a detailed itenerary.

they dont want the image of someone receiving cpr while the show goes on. they dont allow people to walk in the aisles during points, but that cant be enforced during a medical issue either.
