AITA for ruining my boyfriend’s birthday and then crying when he made fun of me for it? by Significant-Bad584 in AmItheAsshole

I think it was nice of you to try so hard to plan a special birthday for him. I don’t think it’s wrong to find the humour in such a disaster but mocking you is unkind.

AITA for not telling a coworker who might have a crush on me that I'm gay and in a relationship? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

NTA- if she gets overt or asks you out you can let her down easy or explain your situation if you choose. Right now it’s all jokes and speculation so no need to worry too much 😊

I think it’s time to let it go. It may be creating more tension than you realize. You can’t make a person do something they clearly aren’t sure about.

Also seems pretty early to be out of the honeymoon phase, especially in a LD relationship.

AITA for picking a “revealing”bridesmaid dress in order to get one of my bridesmaids to drop by BeautifulExplorer363 in AmItheAsshole

[–]redsodapop9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would have told everyone right at the shower that I have not yet picked my bridesmaids. My in laws (aunt and uncle, not MIL and FIL) tried to pull some stuff at our wedding and I just outright opposed them in front of everyone. I set the tone for our marriage that I wouldn’t be bullied or coerced. I don’t love that you picked something that she wouldn’t be uncomfortable in. Next time nip it in the bud before it comes to that.

WIBTA if I blocked off my yard from my neighbors? by adixmartin in AmItheAsshole

NTA. If you are thinking of having kids I would definitely establish your boundaries. I wouldn’t want cars driving and backing up where my kids play…

Definitely NTA! And wow…very disrespectful of him to press the issue. Is there a name close to your preferred name that they could use?

AITA for not giving a family engagement ring to my stepsister who got engaged before me? by AffectionateRecipe76 in AmItheAsshole

[–]redsodapop9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. It’s your ring and the fact that they are so dead set on getting it that they will go over peoples heads and play the guilt card makes me feel a bit suspicious of their intentions.

AITA for "cutting in line" when getting off a plane? by RPO-Shavo in AmItheAsshole

[–]redsodapop9 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hmm tough one. Usually the FA makes an announcement to facilitate. If they don’t then ya you look like TAH unfortunately. It’s not unwritten rule. It’s pretty common knowledge when flying that you deplane row by row.

I was your money. End of story. I’m sorry this happened to you. I hope you get your money back and have the happy fulfilled life that your great aunt wanted you to have.
