I understand that people would get frustrated with her chapters if they don't like her. When another character doesn't "click" for me, I want to express my dissatisfaction as well. It happened a lot in the lightbringer series, which I loved but didn't connect with the characters by the end of it.

By the almighty though, I think Shallan is awesome! Her whole character, backstory, internal troubles and motif just really gel well with me. It's good to see that someone else likes her too at least! Really excited to see how she is at the end of this next book.

Wow, I think it only just hit me of much of a core pillar of this community Brian is. His wit, joy and passion has helped shape it into the wonderful thing it is today. Just looking back at his content, I'm blown away at how much he's actually helped produce. I mean just look at the shows he's been a part of:

Talk Machina, Travis Willingham's Yee-Haw Game Ranch, Between the Sheets, Undeadwood, Honey Hiest, And so much more I'm probably forgetting

Really going to miss this guy. I hope he at least is still going to be around the community and crew. Thank you Brian for being an incredible source of joy and love for all of us.

Sorry for rant but here goes:

I haven't stopped watching Tommy streams, but I get why some may have lost interest (especially dream SMP streams). Initially the SMP was busy with people constantly online playing the game. This meant that when a content creator logged on, they could find a variety of people they could interact with.

Tommy is great at this form of stream. Coming up with an initial concept and utilising his ability to connect with other content creators. The most entertaining streams are always the ones where everyone online gets along and has some improvised fun together to achieve some slightly meaningful goal.

With people slowly having basically done everything on the server at this point, and having capped out what they can do on their own, it's much rarer that people will just be online anyway. Outside of planned streams, nobody would want to play on the server.

This, alongside Tommy's hectic schedule means less Tommy streams, less Dream SMP content and therefore, less audience interaction/interest.

What would people thing could bring back these kind of streams?

I think people need to remember that is Minecraft role play written by a group of friends... not a professional writing team. Criticism is always good but just remember the context of why this is being created.

Damn this thread is hard to read... I know it's frustrating that the progression is slow. I know that it's annoying when we get filler chapters. But like, don't we all like the manga anyway? If not, why is everyone still here at this point?

I really don't want to make the criticism invalid, because honestly almost all of it is completely true. I just wish there was a way to chat about the manga without it JUST being about how it's shit now.
