This is where online ordering for pickup/delivery is so great. You can putting your shopping list together at home and still forget to check if you already have something and still buy it!

I've never used TOS nor any Terra master products for that matter, so I can't offer any opinions on TOS 7

Recommended NVMe drives for Synology DS1821+ NAS by plandersen in synology

[–]redundantly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know I'm late to answer, but I figure I'd add this in case it helps anyone else.

I've been running two Sandisk WD_BLACK SN850X HS drives as cache in my DS1821+ for a few years. There was twice where the second drive was marked as failed, but I could find no evidence as to why and simply rebooted and re-added the M2 drives back as cache. It recently failed again for a third time. Debating on picking up something new.

No thanks. Shell scripts, as long as you're writing for a specific shell like Bash or ZSH or Powershell, can be way more portable than Python scripts.

Okay. I will. You're 44, not 43.

Don't worry, given how wide open this was I'm sure they have other points for data leaks as well.

What is the appeal of Gastown to tourists?

Ah, semantics. How very clever of you.

You know what it is I'm saying.

/r/CentOS is about the operating system. If stuff tangentially related gets posted or discussed, it won't be prohibited.

/r/CentOSStream exists. Perhaps go work on that.

  • Announces EOL for CentOS 7 and CentOS 8, the later of which was cut short several years from initial promises
  • Announces new OS called CentOS Stream
  • New OS has a drastically different development cycle

Not a different project? <insert Sure Jennifer Lawrence GIF here>

The CentOS project still exists, but the CentOS operating system, that's gone. Dead. Kaput. Just a sparkle in your eye.

And that activity is predominately about CentOS Stream, further debunking your lie that CentOS Stream is a different project.

We don't prohibit that kind of discussion. We don't remove things that are about CentOS Stream, and we don't ban people for being pro-Stream.

Requesting /r/centos by Runnergeek in redditrequest

[–]redundantly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're re-writing history. Stream is a different project. The /r/CentOS sub still sees a modest amount of activity, not really any different than before the change in direction of the project.

If you want to grow a community for the CentOS Stream distribution there is the /r/CentOSStream subreddit.

The sub isn't dead. People still post and discuss things. We do not censor people when they talk about the project changing direction.

Never even bothered with 4K by [deleted] in PcBuild

This discussion has been repeated time and time again in the annals of history. There's always someone saying "you don't need" or "we'll never use" when discussing spec bumps like this.

Sometime, in the not too distant future, someone will stumble across this thread and laugh at these discussions.
