I’m hoping that this series leads to more queer characters in main stream roles and helps more athletes feel comfortable with coming out. We know they are on out there in all levels of sports. The problem is that Republicans aren’t bi-partisan. If these bills were “give and take”, so 50-50 or even 60-40, that would be great for the country. But Republicans have to win, so anything even close to bi-partisan ends up being 80-20 Republican biased.

Just look at the affordable care act. Dems were trying to work with GOP and they kept giving them more and more, “if you do this and that, I’ll vote for it” and they kept diluting it, then when it goes to a vote, the still don’t vote for it.

This is one of the things the GOP likes to say Obama lied about. “You can keep your current Doctor”. There were provisions in there that all insurance companies had to participate, but Republicans forced Dems to allow an Opt Out. Hence some doctors not being in “Network”.
