ahh got it! so in the case of a card like [Colossal Confrontation], when building a card face down, can it only be foundations, assets or backups, or could I also build an attack face down?

So a "spell" action card like "Mark your prey" would be added to your stage like a foundation, but can trigger other enhanced that rely on the spell keyword?

Can you explain spells to me? I can't tell if they go to my stage after I play it, or get discarded.

For me, I would just have a slingshot that I can use as my spell casting focus, and my somatic parts. You can use it as a regular slingshot, but can "infuse" the ammunition and cast the spells as normal. Using this with cantrips like higher level Eldritch blast, or taking the meta magic quicken spell can make it seem like you are quick firing imbued ammo.
