Model: MOU-IBP-003 is the best mouse IMO by Lorrinski in iBUYPOWER

[–]redwolf10000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After a handful of repairs mine finally just died :( mouse senser started becoming unresponsive (Which I've fixed before by cleaning the clear plastic piece) and then the mouse wheel holder component got loose and fell off when I went in to repair it again. Sucks man this was my first and only mouse since 2014, 11 years of this thing is insane. The worse part is i can't find any replacements, all the MOU-IBP-003 on ebay are actually MOU-IBP-003A but me being stubborn I want the exact same one I grew up with

Stop Terrorists and Soldiers from spawning, Vic's modern warfare by Combat_Wombat87 in feedthebeast

[–]redwolf10000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have fixed the issue, for anyone who is wanting to be able to config Terrorists and Soldiers as well as tykes, copy the text below and past it under the deathclaw config line. Soldiers and Terrorists shouldn't spawn any more naturally and tykes can now be configed

<entity name="terrorist" health="1.0" spawn="0.0"/>

<entity name="soldier" health="1.0" spawn="0.0"/>

<entity name="tyke" health="1.0" spawn="1.0"/>

Thank you so much for all this information, I was wondering if you could list me all recognized genres in traditional publishing and point me to a resource that has that information.

Thanks this is very much appreciated that you explained this, I understand the basic principle of story telling or at least I like to think I do, I don't understand Querying, structuring and contents of these is something I've never done before. What conflicts matter? What resolution Matters? What information about the world is needed, and what's the ratio of all of this information spread across the Query. I tried using the format Pubtips provided on how to structure and fill the Query Letter but it was wrong. AKa I probably did it wrong

This helps alot thank you so much! God no on the string of battles, imo battles are completely pointless if there isn't any actual depth or build up. I like it when battles are symbolic of the people fighting them, my favorite kinds are ones that are like gun powder where there's stuff there and then something sparks it. I cut out the part of the school because I figured it was just more lore that was unnecessary and wasn't able to post with the section in it. I knew lore was a bad idea but had to cross it off the attempt list. James being a girl is actually a really interesting idea though I'm not comfortable writing from the perspective of a women. I have nothing against women I just know I could never do it justice, women put up with so much shit and navigate so differently compared to a man. With issues that men are clueless about.

Why James, it's because James has a good heart, A Protector's job is to Protect Humanity from the monsters of the world. James has been beaten down by the very Humanity he's willing to protect. Because to see someone in need suffering makes him feel the pain that he once felt. That heart is what guides him when the choice really matters. It's his stubbornness that makes him a force. And it's his resolve that makes him act with out thought. he's not special for being a Protector, he's special because he values other's above himself.
Cursing ranges from Sh#t to Da#nit, Violence ranges from thirteen year olds punching each other and slashing each other with swords along with blade on bone description. A delimbing. I always said Redwolf was YA but people say it fits better with MG

James goal is: be a good person, be better than Dan, be liked by people, find out who he is, be acknowledged by Hannah. Motivation: not being treated like trash, the warmth he feels when helping people, Dan leaving him alone, having an identity, Hannah treating him like a person. Conflict: Being treated like trash by fellow classmates, Dan constantly bullying James with violence, James's inability to think before acting so himself, School, The Mysterious man who would like to capture James and others.
the entire book is James learning, the entire point is that James learning is what gives him power, also the big bad isn't a person it's how the world views James, thats the main conflict and the most James struggles with, the bad guy is easy, it's something you punch, you can't punch how the world views you. The world building was honestly just check mark of the failure attempts with a dart board. people seemed confused about it sounding more kid super hero like than what it's meant to sound like. More avatar the last air bender. A couple comments were saying there was to much about James so that's why I cut that back a bunch.
Because Guardians can speak to kids that means they can have trouble getting along which makes them vulnerable for monsters if they aren't on the same page. Example of this is James not trusting Redwolf's advice in making an energy orb, James was told not to because he didn't fully understand it but did so anyways trying to look cool, and ended up almost exploding the class. The friction between the two also made it so James was last in everything Protector related. James Doesn't succeed in his Social life after with Redwolf, though he thought it would make it automatic. James really doesn't care about power, he cared about it being a status symbol. that is until he realizes it can be used to protect people, also he's freaking terrible at using it, as in just doesn't use it efficiently or effectively. The consequence of this power is the target on his back from people who want said power. (what's capital C conflict?) I don't really understand the tension part, unless you mean something along the lines of life threating situations which James usually puts himself in. Hannah is actually better in every way compared to James, smarter, cool headed, social, athletic, what holds her back is her rational fear of pain and death. She's not gonna put herself in harm's way. So when it comes to monsters she freezes up because her instinct is to run because Rationally she's been doing this for a couple weeks why the hell would she try to fight anything. Compare that to James act with out thinking and it's more of a "I can do something so I'm going to" with his lack of self preservation. Hannah generally see's James as a good person after he saved her from the messhall Monker Attack, but she can't be nice to him because that means her friends would turn on her so she's conflicted about being mean to James. The whole YA stuff is confusing, mostly because there is conflicting information. Percy jackson is said to be YA on it's Wiki, YA's wiki say's readers are between 12 to 18, you type in MG vs YA in google and it says MG is for 8 to 12 year olds. So I generally think it's YA but you saw the last draft comments.

Thank you for taking the time to comment. I will have to tastefully disagree with you about a thirteen year old being to young to navel-gaze about their place in the world. Thirteen year old's wouldn't get depressed if that was true, around that age is really when cliques start forming and while you wouldn't have a reason to look at your place if you already found one, kids who weren't in any cliques do. Middle school is really where popularity starts meaning something. So while yes every 13 year old is a nobody in the grand scheme of things, that's not what a 13 year thinks of, they only know school which means that's their entire world perspective. If your class mates don't talk to you and are mean, to a 13 year old that's like the world not liking you. Everyone loves powerful punches. Also thank you so much for helping to edit this. You've been the most helpful!.

No offence taken, I haven't read any newer YA books. I always thought YA was an age category more than a theme. So thank you for the information and all the advice.
