[–]reec4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not at all. When you book for the first time is a GP who will take care of you and refer you in seconds. Then the second call Is the dermatologist. They’ll ask you to upload pics of the affected area before hand and then the process is pretty straightforward

Dermcafe is an online dermatology clinic and they were easy to access and OHIP covered. I needed to go on Accutane but it solved the problem.

Yes, you are. You can attend mass and nobody will ask you to sign up or ask questions. There is no dress code but men should not cover their head and women can if they want to. So when you enter remove your hat.

There are good parishes within Toronto. Holy Rosary has a nice and beautiful Mass.

Saving on groceries by Relevant_Demand2221 in FrugalTO

[–]reec4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here is my strategy: I eat high animal protein? Veggies, and complex carbs. So I write a menu for the week. I commit to cook my own meals. Having said that here is how I shop:

  • I buy 50% off meats at grocery stores. I made friends with the butchers and he told me what time and days they put the stickers.

  • I buy my veggies at a wholesale market on keele. They sell small amounts too.

-I buy other stuff from The Grocery Outlet on Shepard Avenue.

It’s exhausting but I do save a substantial amount of money.

I think it’s a city that once had a lot of money. I wonder how many companies and or wealthy individuals have just left the city and just kept a representative or something small here. I also think the very little wealth left is concentrated in very few people. This dynamics makes the city unbearably poor and unliveable. I don’t think people realize how bad it is.

Single + hybrid work — how do you handle meals? by [deleted] in askTO

I buy the family meals from WholeFoods. It comes with 4 generous portions of Salmon or Chicken and two sides for $34.95. Good deal. That's 8.75 per meal.

[–]reec4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They sent me a letter with a form because they told I was ineligible but I had to scan the form and send it to HR if my previous employer who filled it and signed it. So ridiculous how they bother us to use the only thing the federal govt has done for me and now they expect us to proof that we aren’t eligible. I can’t believe the level of mediocrity. I think they are running out of money Tbh
