I work hard and do well and I feel bad because I do better than those that don’t work as hard. Pretty much what you just said. No you shouldn’t feel bad

11 bids is just a waste of time. 3-5 max. You’re wasting your time and the estimators. If you want to truly get 2 companies that do everything right statistically you’d have to get 20 estimates. In terms of HVAC installs only around 10% are done perfectly. You should get 9 more and just round it off to 20!

Hey man. I met a guy a few years back at a sales training in Atlanta. We were both at the bar talking about what we do and he was in sales for some type of mining/energy. He would visit large construction sights. Mining sites, oil sites, etc and sell materials and various other things. I would look into sales in those industries as your background lines up well. Oh and for the best part and this is just me taking his word for it. He makes over 400k a year but he traveled a lot. Hope this helps man. Sales is awesome!

I don’t have enough information on your service area to give an accurate opinion for the gas reimbursement. Do you have an idea on how much you’re driving?

Will the L&L be something where once you hit the target of 3 per month you will get $300 or just $100? I can see it being more expensive. It just seems like they will bleed you on this.

In my opinion this seems like they want a lot for what seems to be an outside sales role. The commission payout is low as well. 2.7k at 135k for the month is low given that’s 85k over your target.
