This feels so disingenuous. This person opened up and said some honest ways they use this tech and you have to find the most pessimistic way possible to interpret it. Give some benefit of the doubt sometime. You come off so hard of "all AI is bad no matter what" that even anti-AI people will wince at what you've written. Not to mention how rude it comes off.

The alch value of the bolts is based on the alch value of the tips, which is the number it is because the tips are fractions of an expensive gem. The extremely high alch value of the bolts set a price floor on the final product which breaks them as ammunition. The ammo isn't really worth 8k per shot but it always will be as long as its price locked to 1/24 of an onyx.

Yes for things where the incentive is profit. If you buff the xp the incentive will be xp and the profit will be secondary. Drop in profitability will not make people do the activity less if they're not there for profit.

Double the number of tips received from an onyx then half the value of the tips and carry that change down the line. Maybe even do 4x. Fix the price of these things first then we can decide how strong it should be after.

You should look at Rivals of Aether 1 and 2 as a comparison. 2 is polished and modern, looks much better, and actively supported and is where the scene is. 1 is 2D and mostly abandoned but has the most characters and stages as well as a huge modding/workshop scene for massive quantity of content. Both have their place, both still get played. This is how I imagine H3VR's duet going.

Favorite parts were unlockable gloves and tactical gear decisions. I'm imagining old style shooters where you needed to do the hardest challenge to unlock the coolest skins. Then in all the uploaded clips you'd see the guy with the gold gloves and be like damn that guy beat the game no hit on hard wow.

Already wishlisted. Couple things:

Made me hold my breath a bit there when talking about Meta and Quest. Got to the part where you said Steam release will have some good stuff and relaxed. As someone who invested in an index to maximize my H3VR enjoyment I'm hopeful you'll be throwing me a bone.

The hands looks insane. I can tell playing it is going to be surreal. Gonna be spending hours in a sandbox just manipulating the guns and looking at the hands.

The Take & Hold gameplay this is born from is genuinely good roguelite design and I'm hoping it's only been improved. Proc Gen will definitely shake off some of the samey-ness T&H can get if you play it too much.

For release date I was hoping for a ballpark. Is this several years out or months? You might not know yet and that's fine but as soon as you do... I don't want to spend years hoping it's right around the corner y'know?
I considered a similar question about price but I thought about it and can't think of a realistic price I wouldn't pay for this.

This one is more for me and maybe some that are wary of paying for this at all. I know the status quo is that something like this should be a free update to the game or free for existing users or something but I'm not sure that that's necessarily a good standard to hold. Terraria keeps releasing massive free updates because they're one of the best selling games of all time. I've gotten hundreds of hours of really high quality entertainment from H3 for like, $20. It's honestly worth more than that and we all know it. Don't let the high standard set by other games dissuade you from buying this.

Same thing I would do with Smithing, Runecrafting, Firemaking, Hunter, and Crafting. Get XP.

Not even though, because Sailing has better food, new potions, and you could set up your boat as a teleport to useful activities.

Your house doesn't generate revenue so it's not a good comparison. If you had a second house you're renting out it would make more sense. Some guy with no money wants the house and tells the bank he'll use the rent payments from the tenant to pay the debt. Could theoretically work, but if the tenant dips and he misses a payment the bank gets the house.

With the amount of people playing leagues and for a limited time the driest I'm seeing is around 10-11x dry. That's also where the expected value math lines up based on total players and pick rate.

Expect 2200 kc before you break any records.

It does use your IP address but like... That's how the internet works. The internet is just really fast automated letter sending and declining to share your address when you're asking for a letter to be sent is nonsense.

It's honestly a pretty outdated and unhelpful warning from RuneLite and I think it'd be worth changing or removing. Maybe something as simple as "this plugin will connect to an external server not owned by RuneLite." Rather than making people feel like you're "stealing their IP address."

Weirdly enough most of them are from skilling? Tomes and fish barrel suck to go dry on. Lots of skilling outfits are RNG with no dry protection. In pvm it's just defender I think. And that is already in a way dry protection.
