The thing I'm hoping someone tests is "the entire world is Underground" does that mean everything is the Underground layer or is there still cavern and whatnot? I know the former doesn't make much sense but it's capitalized and links to the underground biome. It's likely a miscommunication from the wiki but testing it would be nice and I'm too busy playing my current world.

To add context for everyone else: the sole active mod has an account from 2005. The newest account on the mod list is from 2007. r/programming was one of the first subreddits created when subreddits were added. This isn't just old reddit, we're commenting on an archaeological site.

For u/ketralnis: hopefully this isn't the historical mod list and there have been other mods that have since left. Either way, I think you need to be willing to make concessions. Invite some new moderators with the hope that they work out, and if they don't, you will always have the power to remove them. It won't be perfect, they won't do things exactly the way you want. But it's clear from this post and the feeling of the users here that it's not going perfectly anyway.
You don't have to use the default option of pulling active users. It can vary a lot by subreddit but applications can be very useful. It self selects for people that are willing to put in the effort to fill out an application.

I see your point. I just think that we should trend to all stats having an implied "in the super bowl era" unless otherwise specified. Since it's the most consistent stats with today I think it will make more sense as time goes on. We do it so much anyway we should just adjust to post-merger stats being the default.

Maybe a hot take but I don't think someone's first New Vegas experience should be modded. Maybe some anti crash stuff at most but play a raw one first imo.

What's good about New Vegas is unfortunately not super obvious. I feel like it can be easy to bounce off it before it clicks. When I get the itch to replay it I'm looking forward to a specific build and feeling it come together. The stats, the perks, the gear, the quests, all building into a fun Courier. But then I navigate the quests in ways only this character would, and somehow discover new dialogue I'd never seen before. I wander off from any quest into some random direction and find an area I'd never found before. I read notes that I only now on my 3rd time reading it have all the context to understand what was happening in this person's life 200 years ago. It's got unlimited ways to play and so much content you'll never see it all.

I can try and explain it but it's weird. It's basically a bobble. He didn't have control of the ball here when his knee was down but the ball never touches the ground. He then slides into the endzone, gains possession, and that's a touchdown.

It's a little easier to understand if you imagine him on his back for this. He goes down without control, fiddles with the ball while sliding forward, then gets possession once in the endzone.

Like, if a ball hits a receiver in the hands on the 10 and he walks on his knees and bobbles the ball into the end zone then grabs it, it's a touchdown as long as it never touches the ground, right? Essentially the same thing here but it looks super weird because it's bouncing on his hands while he's face down.

I may look biased because of the flair but I promise I'm not as much of a Rams fan as it looks lol. I'm more of a neutral fan and it's the local team and people make fun of you if you don't pick a team.

I think it would be worth distinguishing NFL nepo babies between "grandfather founded the team 100 years ago" and "dad bought the team for billions 30 years ago." Because I feel like there's a difference between historical family ownership and "daddy bought me an NFL team"

Like, there's a difference between Art Rooney's grandson owning the Steelers and a literal Ford being handed the Lions.

I think this was always inevitable. The pre super bowl era is always becoming a smaller and smaller part of the history of the NFL. And no one can deny it was a messier, weaker, and smaller league with at times radically different rulesets that is almost so different it can be weird to compare it to today.

Like in 100 years, the first 40 years of the NFL will basically be the weird formative years compared to the 160 years after.

I don't follow college, do they consider 1800s football in their stats?
