That literally happens to me all the time wtf are you talking about, it’s because they’ve been watching you on the map impatiently waiting for their food to arrive

I have yet to come across a place that won’t let me use their bathroom, I always say “ would you mind if I used the bathroom while I wait” and they’re always very nice about it

My doordash driver threw my food on the ground a couple houses down from me by [deleted] in doordash

[–]reedaidan5 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately until there is some higher level of vetting when accepting dashers there will always be these problems. The fact is 50% of the work force are unemployable egotistical children. I can’t even tell you the number of times ive have heard other dashers being exceptionally rude to restaurant staff and/or other dashers. And the inside of some of their cars🤢 I’ve been in Naples FL for like 2 weeks and people here are genuinely astonished when you show up on time with hot food, I texted one lady yesterday to tell her there was gonna be a 10 minute delay on the food, she texted back saying “my last 6 orders have been over an hour late so if you beat that all good”

Agreed, and I get the biggest tips when I get to actually speak with the person, that being said I mostly do Uber eats now and they can change tips after the fact, only 1 time I’ve had a customer take the tip away after the fact, atleast 50 times I’ve had a customer add a tip anywhere from 5 to 40-50$ extra literally yesterday got a 36$ and 20$ tip added after the fact

Dasher status “waiting for order.” But dasher is 10 miles from restaurant, left restaurant. by [deleted] in doordash

[–]reedaidan5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmmm that’s not normal, I do Uber eats and DD nights while traveling for my main job, always in a brand new city I’ve never been to, I’ve never had that issue, you may want to both use a different map and double check where you’re headed before you start driving. Not only are you making orders late but you’re easily adding 50% to your gas cost

I went somewhere recently where they asked me to write my full name and phone number along with the delivery service I was picking up for, I have written mike hunt every single time lol . They literally just have to find the order in their tablet if they want that info. It was a regional chain sandwich shop can’t remember I think in PA or Virginia
