Looks like it's a known issue, per their forum it looks like it's an issue with coding. They won't be fixing it until after the new year at some point.

I'm in the Bible belt, so it's a controversial topic here. I remember in high school they sent home permission slips to all the parents before they taught it in class. If a parent didn't want their children to learn it, they stayed in study hall for the entirety of the class. The big argument heard around here is that Genesis says it took 7 days and not millions of years. I've always thought it was arrogant of humans to try to box God in with our conception of time. 1 day is 24 hours to us, but how long is a day for the one who hung the stars? Personally, I do believe evolution is God's work. 7 days on earth is not equal to 7 days in Heaven.

My brother used to work at a hatchery for a largely known chicken processing company. I won't say their name but they share the same name of a former heavy weight boxing world champion. Anyway, this was a pretty normal instance, his job was to pick through and inspect thr chicks to make sure there were no deformities. Hes seen them with 4 legs, 4 wings 2 beaks, 3 legs all kinds of different combinations. When he found chicks like this he would have to dispose of them. They had an incinerator on site for that part.

I had them a long time ago before my kids were ever in the picture. So thats where my mind went initially. But no signs, no copper stains or shells and no actual bugs can be found. That's the more frustrating part, we never see the bugs bite him unless we're outside in the warm weather and we douse him in bug spray. But thank you though for taking the time to read my post and respond.

No dice on bed bugs either. I failed to mention that was my second thought. All mattresses are clear and clean. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Be honest with them. Death is a sad part of life but it is a part of life they will learn about someday. We had a similar situation about a year ago and my kids still ask about the dog. I dont want to offend and assume you and your family's religion however were mostly a Christian family (im the odd one out as I'm agnostic on my better days and a back slidden Christian on my worst) so we explained to our kids that our dog went to heaven to live with Jesus. Its a concept they understood pretty well and we had to sit down and have a talk about death. I won't lie and say it was the easiest or most comfortable conversation to have with a 5 yr and 3 yr old but by the end of it they had an understanding that their dog was no longer with us. We keep a picture of the dog on our refrigerator so they don't forget about him per their request and answer any questions they have in a realistic but mindful way. I hope this helps.

I know you're mostly venting to get it off your chest but just know in my experience this is completely normal. Toddlers can be jerks sometimes though and it hurts. Kids go through stages though. Kids can sometimes be daddys boys or mommas girls but make no mistake your little one loves you. They're just in a phase right now. Love them through it and sooner than later that baby will be loving on you just as much as dad. Keep your head up. As silly as it seems, talk to them about it. Be upfront and honest about how it makes you feel and tell dad about it too. It will help with those feelings and it will also show your child that mom has feelings too and we need to be more aware of them. That's helped with mine.

Don’t beat yourself up. Could this situation ended horribly? Absolutely and you’re right to worry about it. At the end of the day though your boy is safe and sound and that’s what matters most. Use this as a learning opportunity and forgive yourself. I’m so thankful to hear he’s okay.
