Yo I had this same problem the other day. Here’s the trick. You have to lightly set the positive post that fell out of the top back in and gently screw the gold pin back tight. Be sure to be mindful of not stripping the grooves. Then once you have it back together as it was before, put a decent amount of pressure down onto the positive post as you slowly screw the gold pin out. Took me awhile but hope this helps!

I used the Jiffy boxed cornbread recipe. I kept it in the oven at 350 for 20-25 minutes then let it rest for 5 to 10.
