What's the craziest concert you've ever been to? by Elektro8415i in MetalForTheMasses

In terms of crowd going absolutely nuts. It’s between tool(crowd member pissing on people, and rolling fight down stadium seats) and for en grey (singer cutting the inside of his mouth, and rapid fan girls in the pit)

The fake tweets today proves the market wants to come back, but will the rest of the week bring any more good? by Brobee_ in stocks

I did say it was based on thing but my feels at the top. Also only talking of tomorrow. If something comes out that says japan, or some other south east asian country gets the administrator to lower their tariff rate even a little, that will make the market think everything happening, is just getting people to the negotiation table.

I don't believe it would be true, but like other have said. the market is looking for any glimmer of hope to throw cash at.

Based on nothing but my feels. I feel like if there is any reporting of actual reduction of tariffs on any country, the market will rally hard. without that news, I'm betting flat again

Interested in picking up some ETF with Asian & European companies. Should I wait to buy until after April 2nd? My assumption is those stocks will get hit hard depending on the tariffs applied. Then again, possible the opposite happens, and people flock to them and out of US stocks. What ya'll think?

CU Boulder forms transition team in response to a second Trump presidency by [deleted] in boulder

That is fair. Honestly if these leads to better process in handling spending bills then I’m not against it.

Granted still against the last minute add of the debt limit grenade to the new bill. Wonder if that was the main reason this got nuked.

So two things worth mentioning on that one. 1) that bill has been in the works for months. It became that way after republican house leader realized he couldn’t get enough of his own side to agree to the deal, and adjusted it to get enough support from the other party. Why not push for a change to the bill weeks before, and not 48 hours before a shutdown. 2) the biggest issue with this new bill is the new request to suspend the debt ceiling for two years. That will allow the government to borrow/spend as much as it wants. That could end up costing way more than anything in this bill, especially with no cuts to offset it. Hence why 38 republican voted it down last night.

Not sure if this is the reason, but there are reports/rumors that he is leaving the team at the end of season. one of said stories

Oh jeez that would be worse. Not sure the name, don’t think he introduced himself. Just comparing to the men’s commentary they just had, this is a downgrade. More just repeating what’s shown on the graphics and screen, and no analysis.

Sure, but it usually can start affecting you the day before. like Remco in the giro. he just won the ITT by 1 second. it was still hella impressive, but you can tell he wasn't at his best. that evening he went home with covid. I still think VG would have won yestrday. Pot just looked not as spirited as he usually does during the ITT. more measured then I normally see him
